Take 5 Oil Change, San Antonio TX

Very unprofessional staff member (big dude w beard) gave me an ugly attitude and was not very helpful when I asked questions, they really need to re-evaluate the employee training because if the rest of the staff is like him I most likely won’t be the first to complain.

I love that I don’t have to get off my vehicle! The team there is super professional and nice!

Don't go here unless you want to pay more than their competitors down the street. I went as a first-time customer 1 week ago with a four cylinder engine, and they were going to charge me 140.00 for a basic oil change with a vehicle with only 56000 miles. This was nothing else but a simple oil change. The other place I went to did my cabin filter change and oil change for 75.00

My experience here was amazing, Kameron was extremely helpful and very kind through the whole process and I greatly appreciate his positive attitude!

The reviews were good. But service was super slow. There were four guys around a white truck. One doing the work and the other three watching. Once I parked ten minutes had elapsed without anyone coming to see me while three guys were standing around and doing nothing. After 15 minutes I decided to drive off and went to jiffy lube down the street where I was immediately greeted and serviced. I was in and out.

Very disappointed in their service. The first thing I told the kid that was working on my vehicle, is to not mess with my air filter. Had problems in the past and have more knowledge in changing it myself. It's a Company vehicle and it's part of a fleet account, So it is recommended that we take it to take 5 to get the oil changes. I had no problems with any take-five in the past. They're usually very understanding about it. And this is how they let me drive. They also did not top off my fluids and lost my windshield wiper fluid cap.

Great experience. They gave my 3 kids all juices and fruit snacks while we waited. Kameron and Zane were very friendly and made sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend them.

Kameron Hubert clearly doesn’t like what he does. Costumer service sucks! First of all be clear on what you are asking when doing a vehicle inspection, he was already mad for no reason according to him we were inoperative little do you know we couldn’t hear what you asked us for & us laughing had nothing to do with you. Maybe try finding a job that fits you.

The employees at this location did an excellent job with the tools available to them. Management should make sure all of the proper tools are available on a daily basis. Air should be a service that's given every time. It's not the employees fault that the compressor is not working. Lack of details by leadership always makes the employees look bad. It's not like anybody read these things and does anything about it so the compressor will probably be broken again when I go get another $110.00 oil change. Thanks again Take5 management for making your employees job easy in 100 degree weather and for the $15 off coupon after I got my oil change.

Quick and friendly! Only $135 compared to $270 at Firestone for the same service on my Mercedes. You stay in your car. The mechanic doesn't drive your vehicle, so it doesn't end up smelling like a dirty engine when you drive away. I'm only bringing my vehicle here from now on! Great job and thank you!

Took my car in at the start of July for an oil change. Tech who I was later told was the store manager worked on the car. He tells me that my drain plug isnt going in right and he is going to replace it with a new one. Car continues to leak oil. Take car back here about 3 weeks later only to be told its the oil pan gasket NOT the oil plug. Took the car to an actual recitable mechanic only to be told whoever recently worked on this stripped the hell out of it and tried to fix it with plumbers tape. When i took it back to the shop, they didnt even bother to check the oil level that was in there. Cant call the shop because noone answers and their voicemail is full. Cant call corporate because of the same thing! DONT take your car here! This honestly has been a nightmare - and when you go back they cant even look you in the eye just say - oh our manager did this work. And they cant do anything to help. When I get the car back from the shop I will post a picture of the damage. I get accidents happen, but own up to your mistakes take 5. Terrible experience.

They incorrectly failed me when I brought my car here for the annual inspection. They said my brakes were shot and they could hear metal on metal. I went to the dealership right afterward, and my brakes are completely fine.

Had a little over a hour wait. Because they were doing state inspection. I had gone to the other Take 5 on Culebra rd. But the were out of the oil filter for my car. So I went to the Marbauk location. I asked the gentleman that was recieveing cars that if he could check to see if they had my filter he said he couldn't because they only have 2 computers. And were in use. I would have to wait my term. I got lucky after a hour they had my filter.

Showed up around 1pm and the doors were open but nobody could be found. The phone also was disconnected when I tried calling.

Best place to get an oil change. They do free top offs between oil changes. No need to get off the far. Fast friendly service.

One Take 5 stripped my oil drain plug and blamed it on another Take 5. I couldn’t get a call back from their corporate office. They are the only one that has changed my oil in 3 or 4 years, it doesn’t matter which Take 5 that stripped it. They should have fixed the problem they caused not blame another Take 5 store.
