Talbots, Houston TX

I walked in at 10: 30 am. There were three women working there. Only one other customer who was actually checking out. I had a list of items to purchase for an upcoming trip. I had preselected these things but needed to try them on. No one greeted me. No one spoke to me or even acknowledged that I was in the store. About 80% of my wardrobe has come from Talbots for the last 15 years. I was wearing their clothes at the time, so they should have recognized me as a customer. I tried several things on. Still no attention from the staff. I decided that they obviously didn’t need my business. Except they did. By this time there were no other customers in the store. Going to find a new place to shop.

Always love Talbot’s. Traditional, yet stylish clothing at reasonable prices. They have a nice selection of petite sizes and easy parking right beside the store. The sales people and manager are always pleasant and helpful. Although another Talbot’s is 10 minutes closer to my house, whenever possible I prefer to go to the River Oaks location just because of the ease of getting in and out of the store. Further for me, they tend to have a better selection of petite sizes

My mum and grandma love this store. The quality is awesome, but the design is not too fashion.

I enjoy shopping at Talbot's. The staff always are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable not to mention the epitome of best in class customer service. They also inform customers about special sales or discounts upon arrival.

Today I shopped with my 26-year-old daughter who invariably finds youthful, fun but high quality ensembles at Talbot's. This isn't just your mother's favorite store. There is something for everyone and the Fall 2020 collection is the best one in at least a few years.

All that to say, if I need casual, professional, lounging or special event attire, I always shop Talbot's first. Great sales. Consistently good quality, value and selection. Whether online or in-person at a store, Talbot's always offers a "feel good" shopping experience.

I've never been inside, but I workout in the garage behind it sometimes. The back door is clean and the store seems fine. And I like the font they use - four stars!

Incredible staff. Lovely women and always so helpful. Alison, the manager, is wonderful.
