Fantastic work! It was a pleasure doing business with Tallent Roofing, the crew was polite and worked very hard all day and finished the job in one day from start to finish! Stephen, Kenneth, and Mario were fantastic and made sure everything was done to standards and even went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were taken care of. I would highly recommend Tallent Roofing to anyone looking for a company who does good work and treats its customers like they themselves would like to be treated…politely and respectfully. I would like to leave a very positive review for Tallent and specifically project manager Billy Collazo. My mom’s home in Plano suffered hail damage in May 2023, including roof and window damage, damage to the A/C unit, and a broken skylight. Since the skylight was broken and leaking water, my mom needed a quick fix. Her insurance company recommended Tallent, and Billy and his crew came out right away to put a temporary protective tarp over the skylight. My mom then chose Tallent to handle all the hail damage after the insurance estimate was completed. I served as the intermediary between my mom and Billy. Billy was outstanding in all respects. Communication with Billy was excellent. He responded quickly to text messages or phone calls, even communicating with me outside normal working hours. He also kept us up to date with when the various repairs would be done. One problem was that the skylight my mom requested (and was installed) was not actually the one she wanted. At no expense to her, Billy replaced the skylight promptly with the one she wanted. Billy also stopped by after all the repairs were completed to fix a bunch of indoor nail pops that were a result of the roof repair, even though the contract clearly stated those nail pops were not Tallent’s responsibility. Billy was professional all the way throughout the entire experience. If you need any residential-related construction or repair done, I highly recommend Tallent and especially Billy Collazo!

Ryan Long is Sales Manager for Tallent Roofing and SO much more. His care and communication with the client is superb. We had many repairs because of significant water damage. Ryan sent outstanding crews for each segment plus he oversaw their work to our complete satisfaction. In addition to his skills mentioned, he is also a wonderful person with. I highly recommend Tallent Roofing.

We had a great experience with Tallent Roofing doing our post-water damage repairs on our first floor. Great attention to detail and very professional. Will for sure be using them again for further remodeling when the time comes. Could not recommend them more.

Ryan Long and his subs were outstanding. From initially dealing with the insurance companies to scheduling the repairs (not easy Sioux schedule) to filing supplements with insurance to minimizing the time we had to “move out” to completing punch lists, Ryan was hands on. We will definitely call on Tallent for future needs!

I'm not impressed with this company's response time. I called the office (during business hours) on 7/28,29, and twice on the 31st. I left a message each time asking for a call back regarding my clients roof. I didn't receive a call back until August 1st!? By the time they called, I had already reached out to Tarrant Roofing and spoke to a representative. She had a roofer call me back in less than 45 mins. He went out the next morning and sent me the roof report that afternoon.

Couldn't be more pleased with the work done on a challenging roofing and remodeling project and can wholeheartedly recommend Tallent Roofing. Every detail was handled in a professional manner. In addition, the employees took pride in their work.

Tallent was excellent from start to finish! We had a huge hail storm in may they responded quickly and handled everything from insurance to cleanup. We had a new roof, gutter repair, solar panels removed and reinstalled all in one day. Their guys were efficient, organized and experienced. We would suggest Tallent to anyone who asks!

I was only the tenant at a rental home Tallent Roofing replaced the roof on. They didn’t have to work with me, but they did knowing I worked from home full time. The representative was responsive, kept me updated on the schedule and it was all as easy as could be. I left home the morning before they arrived to replace the entire roof, returned home about 11 hours later and could not even tell anyone had been there. Except for the nice new roof. I had occasion to talk with their employees on several occasions before and they were all very professional, polite and represent their company very well. I can highly recommend their services.

We used this company in 2012 to replace our roof and gutters. After hail storm decided to use them again. Left 2 voicemails a week ago, no reply. I guess they do not need new business. We also had our insurance adjuster here today, and were told that all our gutters were installed incorrectly and need to be replaced. So glad, they didn't call me back, and I found a more reputable roofing company.

I recently observed an incident involving a vehicle belonging to Tallent Roofing Inc in Melissa, Texas, that raised some concerns about their road safety practices. The driver appeared to be excessively speeding, traveling at an estimated 70 mph in a 40 mph zone, while driving down the middle turn lane. This reckless behavior was particularly alarming, as the incident took place in front of a school, where young children and families could be present.
