From the moment I stepped through the door, the vibrant and inviting atmosphere transported me to the streets of Mexico. The colorful décor, accompanied by the lively melodies of mariachi music, set the perfect stage for an authentic dining experience.
The star of the show, without a doubt, is their tamale selection. Tamale boy boasts an extensive and diverse menu of tamales, each more enticing than the last. From traditional options like the savory Chicken Mole to innovative creations like the Carne Guisada, every tamale is a work of art, skillfully crafted and bursting with flavor.
The tamales themselves are a testament to the chef's dedication to quality. The masa is perfectly steamed, achieving that delicate balance between moist and crumbly, and each filling is a symphony of fresh ingredients and aromatic spices. The menu caters to various dietary preferences, ensuring there's something for everyone, and the staff is more than happy to guide you through the options.

It's just that I was hoping for them to be a little bit more thicker for the price. But they're good

FOLKS SALT IS RUINING US cut your sodium. These tamales are salty. Young folks need to be more beware of tamales for the elders or people with high blood pressure and sodium intake issues. Chicken are salty and tasted like simple tasteless chicken inside. Bean is ok. But still salty. You can always add salt yourself at home but once you add it too much it’s overload and can’t take out. Salsa is good hot and flavorful. Hope they adjust the salt. The ones making tamales are not considering how much salt goes in. We live in southside and most of us have high blood pressure or diabetes. Watch the salt.

I don't usually get chicken, but these were really good. Chicken, poblano, cheese and spinach. Off the hook. Classic pork was really good also

Finally made it to check out the tamales but very disappointed tamales tasted too sour and too much garlic flavor. The menudo flavor was there but the hominy wasn't ready. Hominy was rubbery and undercooked.

I heard about yall on social media and I was excited to try yalls food. I always like to support small business. But atleast if ur gonna charge $20 a dz for tamales make sure it's worth it. I got home and the masa was so soggy. I also got a special #2. I'm sorry but 1lb of barbacoa, corn tortillas, 1 dz pork and a big red is not worth $40.99. Like I said I was excite to to u guys out. But the prices don't match the food. And for that I give 3 stars.

They don't even deserve a star, I ordered pork and jalapeño and when I tried them they didn't taste like pork, rather it was like tuna
I've tried bad tamales, but these are horrible.

Tamales had a sour taste. They used to be so great and now I never want to go back after this last time. Hopefully they make improvements

I have now had tamale boy twice and never again. Over priced no flavor and all masa. $20 for masa my fault for trying to stay local

All of the tamales are great but the pork tamales melt in your mouth. We've already ordered ours for the Holidays!

Finally was able to make it here after reading so many reviews. Ordered Kadillak and pork tamales. Completely underwhelmed. Either I was given pork and bean tamales, or the pork ones tasted that bad. Flavor was completely off. And for all the talk about the Kadillak tamales, it was all cream cheese, no chicken, no jalapeños, and a lot of masa. The only good thing was the salsa I bought on the side. Wont be returning. What a disappointment.

Bought red pork, they add too much lime and tasted sour. They would have been good without the lime flavor!
