Taquería Autlán, Lubbock TX

I was disappointed, the sea food was not what I expected. It was left overnight.
I'm just going to order something else.
I will give them one more Try!

This place has the best authentic Mexican Food I've had here in Lubbock. Great service, great staff. The price is just right on the money. Highly recommend.

Delicious Mexican food. Fast and friendly service. All of our food was delicious! They had karaoke the night we went.

I do not recommend this business! Came here from Dallas with my son’s family. They have been here 100’s of times. The two kids come for the mariachi band on Friday. My 5 year old grandson has a severe food allergy and we have to bring special food for him. The owner denied us service because we brought in special food because of grandson’s severe food allergies. We even told her we would buy a child’s plate to accommodate them. She didn’t care. So we left with a 5 year old crying because he could not stay and hear the band.

Went there for dinner like my family has many many times on Fridays. This time was different, due to our childs SEVERE food allergies we have to bring food that is has no chance of cross contamination. We have been doing this for years. Only tonight when we walked in we’re told we can’t bring outside food in regardless of allergies because they “have kids meals that we can buy instead” and when we asked the manager if they could guarantee zero cross contamination they of course could not guarantee their food was safe from his allergies. Our family has been going here for a long time and unfortunately will not go back after this. They would rather lose a loyal patron than allowing a five year old the chance at a safe dinner out with family. We even offered to just buy the kids meal to show we’re not trying to cheap out, but they refused. Very disappointing and unfortunate.

Fast service. I had the guisado and it was delicious. Servers are attentive, polite and respectful.

Very good Customer service and clean place. The food is ok tacos and is ok the tacos of birria is not good not flavor. The rice is ok, the beans is good. I think the food is ok. I don’t came again.

Ordered 6 carn asada tacos and carn asada super burrito. It’s was the nastiest food ever had. Carn asada looked and tasted like roast meat. The corn tortillas was soggy and fell completely apart. I also only got 5 tacos. The burrito had mushy rice and meat was mushy. It had a sour taste. Gave my dog some of the meat but he did not eat it. I paid $26.19 just for this. When I placed the order the food came out in 5 minutes. This was not freshly made. I will never go back!

Everytime I come to Lubbock to visit family I always have to get Menudo because the town I live in I can't find any good menudo (I'm very very picky about my menudo) Anyways, decided to give this place a try today before getting on the road back home. I AM IMPRESSED! LOVED IT! I asked for spicy, and got a side of it, total game changer but even without the spicy it was still absolutely delicious. My husband and I actually joked about next time we visit we will bring a cooler so we can order a ton of it to take home and freeze. Lol. Way to go Taqueria Autlan, next time we are in town we will be paying another visit. Also the guy at the window was super nice and funny. Service was great!

Decided to come here for lunch and try out the Cali burrito and carne asada torta. Cali burrito was decent, I thought it was going to be bigger for the price. I feel that the guacamole should’ve been spreaded throughout instead of having it on one end. There was also a little amount of fries inside the burrito. But the carne asada in it was really good.

The tasty carne asada torta you definitely get your money’s worth on this. I love the guacamole inside of it and I smother it with the red salsa (my favorite). The fries are super crispy and delicious.

The customer service was 10/10. The employee attending us at the window was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We even came a second time the same day to eat again. I recommend

THE BEST TACOS IN TOWN! RUN don’t walk! And the customer service - everyone is so friendly. Love this place. Been here about 5 times and it just keeps getting better

This place is amazing. I have never had a bad experience. Always super friendly and the place is extra clean. The michelada was delicious and the food is even better.

Great food, friendly service, and all at a reasonable price. This is one of our favorite places for authentic latino dining.

We went to the Taqueria Autlan after a long sight seeing trip as we were all hungry for authentic Mexican cuisine. We entered and were acknowledged right away. Someone came and took us to our table within minutes. Our chips and salsa came as soon as we sat down. Salvador our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. He bonded with my nephew and recommended the most happening Tequila. He patiently explained the menu to my brother in-law.
We all loved the food and were too full for dessert.

I was not disappointed it was good food I got one of the big burritos what was last on that list I only was able to eat half of it. Keep up the hard work y'all are doing a great job.

It wasn’t super crowded but definitely busy (we were there a little earlier than usual for dinner) for a Friday night.

I ordered the Tres Amigos fajitas - beef, chicken, and shrimp with onions & green bell peppers on a bed of rice & topped with queso fresco - with flour tortillas and a side of nopales. Every last bite was delicious! The nopales were the best I’ve ever had! Their complimentary salsa was also great and went with my fajitas beautifully!

My son ordered the Gringa Quesadilla. It was huge and he still managed to put it all away!

My husband ordered the Birria Tacos (a first time for any of us). It came with a consommé that popped the flavor of the meat in the tacos AND in the quesadilla in the perfect way! He kept commenting about the spices in the sauce and how awesomely tasty it was!
He was still hungry and ordered the Super Burrito (I don’t recall everything that was in it) and it too was delicious! My husband loved that consommé so much, so he poured it on the burrito too!

We love trying new places, and when we find little gems like this, especially locally owned places, we love to tell everyone we can!

My biggest regret is that it took us so long to try them out!

The service was great, too. Got chips and salsa within a minute or two of sitting, drink orders were taken and delivered in a timely manner, and she was very patient with us gringos when we wanted more information on the menu items!
