Taqueria El Barbón (Food Truck) reviews
15 Bring bilingual is a requirement to live in Houston. Over a few years of practicing I’ve learned quite a bit; however, I make mistakes quite often. I ordered the Street Tacos de Nuevo Leon and the Tamaulipas Tacos, and I needed to make a change to the order in between. Super patient with excellent customer service, these guys are. The tacos are incredible too!
I’d include a photo of the tacos, but they’re gone now so get some of your own!
Not worth the money. Tacos are smaller now, you don’t get them on a to go box and no more jalapeño on there and just a small half potato. Waters are so nasty. Two orders for $32 dollars? I could eat someone better.
Ordered at 9: 50 just before closing and picked it up at 10: 15 when I got home my entire order was wrong obviously they were closed so I called in the AM and spoke to Alex he said if I can come back he will take care of me I get there and he tells me I have to pay the full price if I don’t have the food (what we’re they going to do with old food) it’s been 24 hrs that food is in the trash as I could not eat the food I do not eat beef and my wife does not eat corn and that’s all I got was beef corn tacos it’s so wrong how they couldn’t discount the food or anything I am disappointed as I come here twice a week and never had a problem not only did I waste $30 on tacos but gas as well to go back there as Alex said he would take care of me it is so wrong of this company and I am highly upset take care of ur customers thats the only reason why a business thrives
I was very hangry and impulsively searched for a food truck and landed on a GEM. Kid you not, the food arrived in TEN minutes hot and ready. At first I thought this was too expensive but then I only ate 2 and a half tacos out of four and I was stuffed. I had to share the rest with my dad. They are very fulfilling and delicious. The tortillas were made to perfection and the mild to spice level was perfect. Y’all are doing amazing KEEP IT UP
I hadn't eaten Tamaulipas tacos for several months.now that I've tried them again, the tortilla is super dry, depending on the way it is dipped in oil a little bit, just like they are actually made in Tamaulipas.and when ordering tacos, add about 3 or 4 pieces of Dad, they only give one, don't be a big bear. I recommend that you take a look at tacos tec or tacos el maizal so you can see how the Tamaulipas tacos are served.
The food from Tacos el Barbón is delicious. They also have great service. The people are very kind and they always have a positive attitude with their customers.
This has been my go to truck for two years now and they never disappoint! Their tacos are always fresh and flavorful. Try the birria, soo good. I highly recommend 10000/10!
I visited for the first time last night and the tacos were so good! Definitely the best I’ve had on this side of town!
I usually stick with pastor but I tried all three kinds of tacos and MAN WERE THEY DELICIOUS. Nothing wimpy about these street tacos. They come loaded with all the good stuff too. Their truck kindly came to our elementary school today. I saw they sell the taco’s grouped and shaped by numbers for birthdays so I will definitely be back for our next celebration.
The birriadilla's are amazing! Hot sauces are spicy and with a kick. The presentation is always on point and all the condiments are always on good.
16$ for tacos is ridiculous. These tacos are delicious but for the price is just not worth it
Tastes exactly like it would taste in Monterrey.outstanding.went for food and walked away with a spiritual awakening.though next time toast the buns.
This place is the best! Tacos are good! The quesadillas are good! And the Papa asada is good! A tad pricey but worth it.
First and last time I will ever visit this terrible food truck, not only was the service terrible and awkward the food was either incorrect or extremely overpriced for what I got. I ordered two flour tacos $8.25 and a pork quesadilla $4.25. For $13 I got this extremely poor excuse of a plate of food. Not only do I feel I was mistreated due to the fact I’m Hispanic and don’t speak English. I will never be returning. The guys working have zero social competence or care.
The tacos and quesadillas are delicious but the customer service is bad these people have a bad attitude if you want to pay with a card they want to charge you more plus taxes and they chargers you for another thing it's very uncomfortable so The owner needs to make changes!
