ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT

Have lived in the complex for TWELVE YEARS, never had an issue with the staff and under their current management, not only were they EXTREMELY POOR in communication, they also were EXTREMELY RUDE when approached about it.for 3 weeks men were in and out of my apartment without any notice after 3 weeks of flooding both in the kitchen and the bathroom.they never communicated when anyone would come in, walked in on me unclothed and mishandled delicate religious items without consent.no use of kitchen and then bathroom facilities for THREE WEEKS.

When the manager reached out after being frustrated with the situation, he did not offer any solutions.

TWELVE YEARS, NEVER LATE ON RENT ONCE! I WILL NOT BE RENEWING THE LEASE.terribly sad that this was very much where i felt at home, i’ve lived here from my undergraduate studies, into my salaried position.honestly, heartbreaking.

These tara apartments and ac doesn't work. We asked for them to fix it and it's been over a month still haven't done anything serious about it. Water leaks through roof. Have put to keep from having water all over the hallway. I have kids that complain that it's hot in the apartment everyday. Washer keeps breaking down. I do not recommend living here.

I moved here in 2016 when rent was 650$. Just looking back reminiscing and the place looks worse than ever. Pretty sad that it's almost $1000 for dirty pools and the same size apartments.

One of the worst places to move into. Never have any hot water, they will turn your ac off and turn the heater on, all appliances are broken, will call you a few hours before moving in to say it’s not ready after already pushing your move in date back with short notice, things will be “fixed” just to breakdown the same day

The apartments are spacious. The management company is made up of kind people who try their best to go above and beyond for their residents. I would recommend Tara to those looking for an affordable apartment complex in a wonderful area of San Antonio that is run by humans with hearts.

They do high way robbery they charge extra money when you move out from apartment unnecessarily they charge carpet cleaning fee 80$ dollar to me 200 $ dollar they charge extra so plz be careful all new residents before move here I moved out from this apartment because too much baby cockroaches in this apartment my move out time 2022 November I am disappointed and disappointed so dissatisfied about their scam charge extra money when I move out to another apartment they fix their apartment by take charge extra money from move out people so all new residents before move plz be careful think twice ask too much what type money they charge extra when you move out from this apartment it’s for social awareness for all usa citizen.

Have lived here for two years and I can say getting work orders completed is not an easy task. The light on our microwave and bar area both stopped working and was told nothing can be done except to replace the entire microwave and fixture which they never replaced or followed back up on. I have asked for several months to have my tub resurfaced because the paint is chipping off and cloggs the drain all the time but then I am quick to recieve a notice to open my windows because they are resurfacing a tub in my building. Water gets shut off almost daily and have not had consistent hot water for about a month. Had someone from maintenance come by and say they had no idea what was happening that they were new. Had another maintenance guy come by and say i don't have water because we live too far away from the hot water heater. No word since then. Loved the place when we first moved here but maintenance is an issue and communication is an issue as well. Grounds are not ever maintained. Seems like the only important thing around here is getting new apartments ready and not trying to take care of the people that have been here a long time. Was going to resign but not anymore. Just trying to help others to not be blind sided.

Pool was gross the entire summer, work orders never completed unless you ask several times to the point they make u feel like you’re harassing them.water shut offs all the time without notice, and there will be construction going on for the next several months if your looking for a quiet place, it won’t be here.

My family and I moved here in October and from the beginning of the process the staff has been awesome and on top of things. We've had some little apartments issues but nothing major and every work order has been timely managed and the maintenance
here is great and they've been so attentive with all issues. We absolutely love it here and look forward to making this our home. Thank you Tara staff for making this a great experience for our family.

The heat has been on for well over an hour in my apartment, and this is what the temperature reading is. It is SO cold!
Stop having us at the mercy of maintenance “turning over the system”.

Put in a request almost a month ago for someone to see why I can't get any hot water to my sinks or shower, have put two more requests in and still nothing. Last time I timed it, it took 15 minutes for my shower to heat up.and that's not hot water, it's luke warm water. That's a lot of money and time for barely-warm water.

It is summer time and the pool is this green!
The office staff is so rude and never working on work orders!

They think urgent means do nothing at all for 2 weeks.
Even paying them doesn't wake them up.

I just moved here abt the 13th officially on the 15 due to cities. I thought it be nice because the space and the living rpom area is great. Parking is kinda weird and someone is always in the spot they assigned me. Aside from that I was repulsed to be welcomed to this upon moving into my new apartment. I know this is a minor issue but when moving somewhere new I expect the apartment to be clean. Other than that make sure you check the doors and hinges. I had to take off the door that separates the bedroom to move my furniture and couldn't because they painted over the pins which then I had to remove the door completely off the hinges but the screws were stripped. I hope my experience changes overtime & matinance is better.

I just want to know when BOTH pools are going to be cleaned throughly and correctly. Both pools are almost always cloudy and/or green with dirt at the bottom, especially the 2nd pool in the back of the complex. With the weather already being hot I’d love to utilize the amenity I’m paying for.

My husband and I moved into these apartments only a couple weeks ago and we love it so far. All the rooms are spacious. Love the big windows to let in natural light, the office staff is super helpful and friendly as well. And everything is so close!

I moved into the Tara apartments 8 weeks ago. My 2 bedroom was recently renovated and It’s hashtag awesome my neighbors are really groovy and even better is the friendly office staff. Cierra rocks! I highly recommend checking out this complex.

We moved in a month ago and have been super impressed with the Tara apartments. We had an apartment at La Cantera prior to Tara and we like Tara just as much if not more. It is clean, quiet, well-maintained, and the office staff is great! Gage is the best! Very helpful and friendly. We are super happy with the Tara apartments!

A/C has been out for several days during hot Texas weather making apartments unlivable. Management refuses to reimburse tenants for rent paid and loss of use. They are also retaliatory when issues are brought to their attention. Great location… terrible place to live.
