Department Store Target reviews
15 I just made a $200+ purchase and when prompted on screen to activate a Target Circle bonus, the cashier opted to "save for later" w/o asking me first. When I asked her what was on the screen, she said "something about a bonus, but it's not like you would save the $30 today". I asked her to go back and activate it so that today's purchase would count. She explained, "I'd have to ring everything in all over again. " Not wanting to further inconvenience the customer behind me, I conceded and completed the transaction.
I went to the front of the store, checked the app, found and activated the bonus and saw that today’s purchase wasn’t included.
My irritation is not over the $30. Rather it’s over the complete lack of consideration this employee had for my time and no consideration shown for what my desire might have been.
Quite disappointing.
Always a pleasure shopping at Target, the Ben White store is clean and well-stocked, and the employees are always friendly.
Absolutely will not shop at this target anymore unless it’s necessary. The young white guy working in the men’s section on 11/09/22 after 6pm was absolutely rude. I asked him where were the graphic tees and he said it’s over on this side. Right before I could say thank you, he then said “try not to destroy this wall over here. ” And I’m looking at him and saying okay? ! And then I said it’s retail. It’s not my fault that people mess up clothes but it is your job to fold them. How dare him to fix his lips to talk to me like I was a peasant. Then he started mumbling underneath his mouth, and then said that there are more tees on the opposite side. I told him that I wouldn’t need his help anymore and he said okay and started to have more of an attitude. This is my neighborhood target as I live and go to the gym nearby but I will not shop here if I’m going to be treated the way I did. I used to work in retail (over 10 yrs) and never have I spoken to any customers like that before. When I got to checkout, I ask to speak to the manager but was routed to the young front end “manager”. I told her what happened and she told me that they will talk to him. Whatever you do, don’t shop here. This store doesn’t care about customers.
Why isn’t there music playing overhead anymore? It’s a creepy vibe with sounds of carts, tired babies and phone convos I could care less about. It’s been MONTHS…. Day/night/all hours! Not even exaggerating, I spend a good $40-$60 less each visit bc I can’t wait to get out of there. So…thanks? I guess?
Shopping here made me buy $TGT puts it was so bad. Limited selection, everything significantly overpriced, and understaffed. Weird return policies as well. This company is on a downward trajectory.
This target branch has self checkout stations, which Ill always prefer to use.however, they could consider adding more self checkout stations. Seems like the self checkout line could also be marked a bit better. Besides that, plenty of parking in the plaza and there’s a nice Starbucks inside
My mom finally found the electric cart when we were leaving. It's useful for her to get by. It was by the help desk.
S Lamar location is my favorite Target! I always have an amazing experience and all of the employees go above and beyond. Two employees that have really stood out; Davion and Brian.
Worst target in Austin.
Ripped me off on deals posted on shelves, constantly screwing up on pick up orders. Store resembles the hygiene practices of a Walmart.
I constantly have drive up order issues at this store. Specifically, items being marked “out of stock” after orders are placed. I’ve even had this happen and walk into the store myself and find the items within 5min fully stocked on the shelves. I hate to be that person but I strongly feel that their employees are getting very lazy here and are not very willing to help. I came to the customer service desk today to solve an issue with an order and after explaining the entire conversation that I had by phone with a manger to the associate at the customer service desk, he goes and checks out my order business as usual and tells me to have a good day. Like I had never even said there was an issue with my order. I have never had so many problems with a Target location and I hope that management reaches out to me to solve this.
I had a problem at checkout and I went back into the store and talked to the manager.and she was absolutely wonderful and helped me and my guy out.
Thank you
Bought some Canteloupe today - can throw the whole thing in the trash. Never ever had eaten such gross canteloupe. It's gone bad and is definitely not fresh food. Money for the trash.
Target has a lot of what I need, and I don't have to wait even one day, and I can do business with someone other than Amazon. It's easy to find what I want and pay online, then I can pick it up close to my house at my convenicence.
My overall experience at Target was very satisfactory. The employers kept it professional and were helpful. The atmosphere was very clean. My wait time in checkout was between 3 - 5 minutes. I will be back. Thank you Target for making me a happy customer!
Used to be my favorite place for shop but not anymore, if you get hurt because the floor has water and there isn't signal there, the only thing they will do for you is NOTHING. Not even a sorry.
