This is one of my favorite places to get food. I love the food here, it is super good. It is very good no matter what you get. I always like the nannini, or the tikka masala. It is a great place to go with friends as there is not usually a long line, and food always comes quickly. Would recommend.

It was pretty solid but there is certainly better indian restaurants, everything came put pretty good, their somosas were the best thing i ordered, the chicken tiki masala just felt like it was missing something, the garlic naan was on point and they gave me quite a lot of it which made me happy. The saag paneer was also lacking but i couldnt quite put my finger on it. Im incredibly picky when it comes to indian food but it certainly hit the spot, the service was on point

Excellent option for Indian curries and other options.
The Korma masala is my favorite here, since it is different than other places I've had it. Here they use a while sauce with pistachios and seasoning to make a sweet flavorful version.
Naan is not included with the meal, you must order separately. The mango drink is also awesome!

This was a great restaraunt. The atmosphere is laid back and quiet. There is a unique variety of dishes and has something for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The mango lemonade and pineapple cream soda is amazing!

Every time I eat here I get disappointed. The curry is always bland and watered down. I'm finally done trying.

Cheapest, best tasting Indian food you can get. Fast and consistent. Try extra hot saag with lamb, and Tikka masala with shrimp! Don't forget to get a drink, because their mango lemonade is amazing!

Quite possibly the best restaurant Indian food I have ever eaten.

After getting used to eating at Tarka, I went back home to North Carolina. Soon I realized that all of my favorite Indian restaurants back home didn't even come close to Tarka in Austin.

Austin's food really does stand out.

I am Indian and I approve of this restaurant.

Like a pei wei of Indian food. Tastes good for the most part if not a little "mass produced" tasting if you know what I mean. A bit on the bland side, but good overall

Decided to try this place with my love. I thought i was going to be a full service restaurant but it actually is a counter service restaurant. Order at the register & pick a table. We ordered a mango lassis (mango & yogurt drink) which was delicious. & for lunch we got off the vegetarian side of the menu, i cant remember the names of the dishes but my GF got the one on the top & i got the one on the bottom. A little small for the price but they will make you full. I would say just right for people that wants to watch the portions.

Overall flavor for my dish was okay. Kinda a yellow curry with potatoes & cauliflower. It had a lot of potatoes not much cauliflower. I wanted mine "hot" but for me was just mild. I do have a decent tolerance to spicy food. My gf dish was really good. Kinda a red curry with tomato cream & something like a vegi dumplings un side. Sauce was really good. I still would try this place again & get something else.
