At Tarpleys, they're very knowledgeable.most of the staff is friendly and happy to help. Lots of instruments and accessories, fair prices.

I have shopped at Tarpley/Tolzien my entire life and believe in supporting local business but it is getting very difficult to do. I was in Tarpleys twice this week for 2 different items. Early in the week I stopped in and and Andrew greeted me immediately and asked me what he could help with. I was looking for a particular guitar and he was very helpful. They ended up not having exactly what I needed and he offered to help me get it ordered. Thumbs up for Andrew! Today I stopped in to browse acoustic amps and there were 4 employees (?) up front. One at the register and 3 people at the guitar tech counter. They all saw me walk past them. No greeting. I went to the guitars section and browsed around thinking someone would eventually come see if I needed anything. The 3 people at the guitar tech counter were laughing and joking and having a great time. After 15 minutes I walked out without even a "thanks for coming in" from anybody that worked there. Seems like a great place to work. Laugh and have fun and don't help any customers. People like Andrew keep me coming back. People like the other 3 will keep me away.

Nice people. Helpful advice. Low pressure. Large selection of a wide variety of instruments. Easy to find / park.

They need to be more welcoming, especially for new people purchasing items needed for beginners.

First time visitor. Very limited selection on bass guitars. Nice selection of acoustics. Saxophones cellos. Very nice. Ppl were very nice also.

The guys there are always so helpful. Took my kids trumpet to them they hadn't fix in 6 days. Place is awesome

Personally i like this place. None of the worker's tell me to shut up when i play guitar loudly even when they know i wont buy the guitar im playing

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They didn’t have much Christmas piano music to choose from. But they were glad to order some in for me to look at.

Place is great with the understanding and knowledge of instruments and they hold customer service on a high pedestal I highly recommend Tarpley's music
