Tarrytowne Estates, Houston TX

Moving my parents out of the house was very tough. Staff made the transition so much easier, my parents stayed in a nice guest room while my husband and I took care of the rest for them. Such a loving community and my parents are happy there!

My grandparent's move to Tarrytowne and leave there for year's until they ware ready for skill nursing they always ware extremely happy with all the services ware provide, to them and I recently move my mother's
to this place as a second generation because I know them for a long time
there Staff will go the extra miles to help all there Senior one perfect example when the Ice storm hit Houston this year on February Tarrytowne Management and staff were there 24 Hours at day to make sure My Mom and the rest of there resident ware taken care off I know when my time comes to retire this will be the place I will chose to leave
I recommended tarrytowne to all the families that are looking for a good place for their love ones.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. IM GLAD I FOUND THIS PLACE FOR MY RELATIVES. THEY OFFER MEALS THROUGHOUT THE DAY WITH ACTIVITIES TO KEEP THEM BUSY. MET THE MANAGERS AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE SO HELPFUL. EVEN THE SECURITY GUARD TOLD MY DAUGHTER THEY WILL BE SAFE HERE. KUDOS TO TARRYTOWN

My grandmother has dementia and is dying and they refuse to let me in to grab some paperwork for her and her vehicle keys. They said they want 500 dollars in order to get access, when we are supposed to have access to get apt until 4-22-21. They said they don't care that she's dying and that they want the money. I do not recommend placing any loved ones here since they only care about money and not their guest.

"Manager" Charlotte used her authority to seek a personal agenda against a resident who was in the process of moving out. During that move, the resident had a stroke and was hospitalized. As the family we have been trying to coordinate with multiple facilities and get care for our loved one. Today we attempted to begin moving the stuff from her apartment (and cannot find the keys to our loved one's vehicle). Charlotte has told us that we have to move the stuff out by 4/22 and wanted her final payment. FURHTER, Charlotte had been allowing a person WHO IS NOT RELATED TO OUR FAMILY to move possessions out of our loved one's apartment WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. Upon our arrival today Charlotte called the police on us and refused to allow us to finish the move (which was on her timeline) and said that we cannot move the property without a signed Power of Attorney. AGAIN, Charlotte has been allowing an unrelated person to gain access and take items out of our loved one's apartment but will not allow LISTED FAMILY to access said apartment to finish moving our loved one's belongings. She also cursed us out and told us that another family member that he should have visited more- that family member lives out of state. She is unprofessional. The staff is unprofessional. Our loved one wanted to move out BECAUSE she said Charlotte was stealing from us. I have also reported them for elderly abuse to the state of Texas.

This is a gorgeous well kept and tidy retirement home. They have a top quality chef 3 meals provided by an excellent staff in a dining hall 3 times a day. The staff is like family not only to the residents but also their adult children who take care of them. If you have someone in your life that needs assisted living I couldn't reccomend it more highly.

The best place I've found for my parents! They socialize and stay active with all the great activities they offer on site and off site. It is a happy feel and the staff is so nice. I have no concerns when i leave and i know my parents are well taken care of.

My parents have been residents for 7 months and it has become home for them. The staff is extremely accommodating. There are activities all the time. It is safe. I highly recommend Tarrytowne.
