Taste of Asia, San Antonio TX

I've been coming here for years, especially when it's cold outside. The food is always fantastic and I can tell that the recipes never chance.

Came here for lunch and probably the worst chinese food I've ever had. I ordered the triple delight, and there was nothing delightful about it. The fried rice was flavorless and dry like it had been sitting in a warmer for way too long. The egg roll tasted like it was fried in bad oil, then left out on the counter for 2 days, then microwaved before being served on my plate. The chicken and beef part of the entrée was just okay, while the shrimp did not taste good. Somehow, the broccoli was so hot that it almost burned my tongue, and yet the mushrooms in the dish were near cold. I emplore the owners of this place to eat at any other Chinese food restaurant in the city and compare it to the garbage you are serving here to see how bad your food really is. The service was quick and efficient, but I guess it's easy to be fast when you are serving food to people that had been made several days prior. The owners here should honestly be ashamed and embarrassed over what is coming out of this kitchen.

I went to Taste of Asia tonight for the first time and it was delicious. They were so friendly! The food was hot and delicious. I got the Egg Foo Young, it was soooooo good!
Service was very fast but not so fast that you wonder if the food was just sitting out.

One of our old favorites. The Pho is excellent! Good and fast service, relatively easy to park. And the cost is reasonable.
Hard to beat!

Best Pho in town. Service has always been great! Been coming here for more than 2 decades and still tastes and feels the same. Keep up the great work you do. Great staff, all around!

We have been back here several times. The crispy spring rolls alone are worth a return visit. Make sure you make a dipping sauce with the condiments on the table. They have a large menu with lots of pho, noodle, and rice options along with more familiar Chinese dishes. I would avoid those more familiar dishes, not because they aren’t good but you can get those at any other Asian restaurant. The only thing I have not enjoyed here is the fried rice that comes with some of the meals. Get the steamed rice instead. Other than that we have enjoyed everything else we’ve eaten here. It all tastes incredibly fresh and made to order. The servers are fast and attentive and the space is large enough that we’ve never had a long wait.

This place to me has been a hidden gem but now I see the popularity it’s gained their crispy. Fried spring rolls are delicious. My family eats them up. I would recommend trying something different every time you go because you won’t be disappointed on what selection you make highly recommend. They also have Chinese and Vietnamese menu. Their pho is delicious The broth is very flavorful. Selection’s of brisket and flank and more.

I hadn't been to this restaurant in the long time and I guess I shouldn't of attempted to come back. I was sat at a both immediately. However I guess they think you will wait on them rather then serving you. I wait 4 mins no one came to get my drink order or anything. Also just a tip but your restaurant shouldn't look like your house. I saw many tables being used as desks for employees at the restaurant. Customers shouldn't be seeing your clutter. Horrible I have to say that. I will also say the place smelled like bleach bad. I didn't stay I walked out and they didn't say a word. The sign on the building says under new management. Hopefully someone will buy this place again cuz this is not working.

This place never disappoints. Customer service, food and cleanliness are all 5 stars. Make sure you get some spring rolls!

The food was average and the price for food is good. However the waitress, was more interested in talking to another worker and rushed to get our order to chat with that worker. She didn't come back and avoided looking to ask if We needed more drink or napkins, etc. I still left a decent tip, but don't plan to go back there. #LearnOnManners

Hands down my favorite restaurant. Their Pho is phenomenal! The spring rolls are to die for and The customer service is always good.

Our server, Laurence, suggested the Veggie Delight with a substitute of Tso sause instead of the customary white sause. It was extraordinary!

We give this place a chance every couple of years and they never fail to disappoint. The food (every dish even the fried rice) is amazingly tasteless and bland.

This place has the best Pho in town have to get the spring rolls you wont order them anywhere else. P5 and spring rolls is what i order highly recommended

Food was ok but nothing special, I did a online order and the women upfront was so rude. It was a huge inconvenience to her that I asked for soy sauce and chop sticks. Pretty much threw them at me. Will not be returning.

Had lunch here after seeing all of the positive reviews. All I can say is that either those reviews are fake, or no one here seems to know what Chinese or Thai food is supposed to taste like. My meal was dog food. Forget opinions of taste…how about basic food quality. Nothing on my plate was cooked less than rock-hard and dry. And hours later my stomach wants to vomit it out just to feel normal again. Nothing edible about this disgraceful attempt at what they pass off as food.
