Taste of India - Permian Basin, Odessa TX

I’m from Atlanta Ga and this is the first and only Indian restaurant here in town and I must say, I was highly impressed as I’ve been wondering if they had one in town or not, Love Love, Love the curry goat, garlic naan definitely will be back! The food presentation is also chef worthy, this place doesn’t receive enough credit, true diamond in the rough what a gem!

Love, love, love this place! Amazing Indian food! I will drive out of my way to get lunch/dinner from here. Highly recommend this place if you haven’t tried it!

Good restaurant and we ate chicken biryani, butter-noon and shrimp biryani (shrimp biryani is not good, they put lot of species and the shrimp is not cooked very well).

Inside the Ramada on JBS. Small, secluded with small wait staff. Tasty vegitarian and non vegitarian. Bullet Na'an is delicious and spicy. Yes to the chai tea latte, please. Sidhi alloo tikki appetizer, fish Masada and gobi manchurian are favorites. If you can handle it ask for it.

Ordered 1 lamb chops, asked for 3 extra pieces and thd cost of extra 3 pieces was $ 17 USD. I paid $ 60 USD for 6 pieces of lamp chop (picked up myself). When I got home half of my order was only bones. Lamb is not cheap fissure, but this guy's are thieves. Never will buy food from them again like

Delicious. So amazingly satisfying. We prefer seasoning, so we asked for our dishes to be "hot". I got the tomato soup and garlic naan. Perfection. Also our server was super on point.

Been coming here for quite a while & have not had a bad dish even once!
We try a variety & share so we can each experience the multiple of flavors.
So happy to have them here in Odessa!

Out for work since last 8 days from California, was craving for some home made food. Searched for an Indian Restaurant around and found this place and am glad that This place was just about 5 minutes away from the freeway. Delicious and just awsome food. Felt like home. The Female server was also so polite and respectful from ordering and serving the Delicious Meals. Great Place to relax and enjoy the food. Awsome?

The Food was Amazing, Don't judge a book by its cover. This place is better then even the most upscale Indian restaurant in texas.

By far i judge it when i saw it was in a hotel but my god the chief is 10/10 A+

As far as I know, this is the only Indian restaurant in the Permian Basin. Food is very good and fresh, and you can customize the spiciness. We order extra to take home. Service is always very friendly.

I often go to Midland-Odessa for my work. And this restaurant is my place to dine in whenever I am in Midland-Odessa. Their food and service is top notch. I have tried their Paneer Burji and that was super. I try different different food every time I visit them. The service is very welcoming. They also deliver to your room if you are staying with Ramada. Keep it up guys.

We have gone 2xs to eat Indian food and I got say it is good from the the dishes we have tried the food the flavor and the spices a lil pricey but is worth it I will definitely go back and try more dishes

Very sad to write this since I love Indian food and this is our only example of it here but ew. This is the second time I've ordered one of their lamb dishes, tasty right up to the moment I got a vein in my mouth. And then had to spit out a chunk of fat. At home I went through the dish with my fingers to get a sample of yuckiness for this photo. I told them about it the first time but they haven't learned. If you're going to butcher your own meat please learn anatomy and do the job right. Show you care about your customers. Between this and the ready-made sauce used for Chicken Tikka Masala, which tastes just the same as the Saffron chicken, which tastes the same as at other inferior Indian restaurants across the country who don't cook from scratch, I guess I will not be back. Very sad.

Best Indian food you can find in the entire west Texas. Rock stars. Pure & authentic. Made with pure love. I love to have my food here. Will always go here forever. God bless the chef. Wahe Guru da Khalsa te wahe Guru di Fateh.

I enjoy doing business with this restaurant because the Chef Raju makes a delicious tasting Indian meal. One of the best I've ever had. The young lady who works the phones and the front take out made an excellent food recommendation and has the best attitude. I hope this restaurant continues to do well, I think they deserve great success.

I had made a call last minute around 9: 20 and asked if they'd be open. A woman responded and said no even though the site says 10 maybe change the site but I understand. Then another woman answered me and was very kind! I went in was told no again that they were closing at around 9: 25 inside the restaurant by who seemed to be the first woman again. Then a man came out and was very polite and helped recommend me a rice and chicken dish which was delicious! Thank you sir if you'r reading this and a big portion of food for around 20 total I had also ordered garlic Nan. The 2 kind people redeemed it for the woman who seemed a little rude but it was more so she was not understanding. Overall the food was great and I will be going back just not around to closing again.
