Tech Ridge Dental, Austin TX

After 10 years of going here this is still the best dentist in town. I even live in south Austin now and will still make the drive up to Tech Ridge for these dentists. Absolutely phenomenal!

Due to covid and other factors, I had not been to the dentist in a couple years. I had my first dental visit at Tech Ridge yesterday (6/19) and WOW-Impressive! Everything you hope to find in a dental office. VERY friendly, professional, knowledgeable, thorough, efficient, honest, transparent and reasonable. Awesome experience and my teeth feel amazing after one cleaning/check-up. Not much more to say except go see Ellen (hygienist) and you will not regret it. It was nice to leave the office and know I found my new dentist and hygienist as long as I live in Austin! Michael-49

I had such a great experience yesterday. I haven’t been to a dentist for 4 years because of a very bad experience. I was so afraid but they really put me at ease. They were very professional and kind and gave me really good advices. I loved it!

Ellen and Dr. Minnie were so nice and friendly! They explained everything in detail. I recommend them for all your dentist needs! Oh and they have ceiling TVs so you can watch while they work on your teeth

I was referred to Tech Ridge Dental from my neighbors and could not be happier! The entire staff is incredibly nice and thorough. Both Dr. Minnie and Dr. Sean came to say hello, and Dr. Sean broke down all of the things he was looking for during the consultation. I know they also offer treatment if you are afraid of the dentist- our neighbor sees them with nitrous gas and it is a pain free experience. They are very upfront with pricing and the cleaning was gentle and quick!

Dr. Minnie is great! Same to Dr. Sean, Ken, and Lindsey!

I've never waited longer than a minute in the waiting room, and when I'm in there, I feel super welcomed. All of the staff does a great job getting to know you and the level of care and attention you get is great. They're all very nice and they do their job amazingly well! Shout out to Dr. Sean and Ken for being fun to joke around with!

The staff at Tech Ridge will go above and beyond to adapt to any situation, from accommodating an impromptu appointment when possible to entertaining a very active four year old. It is always good to see familiar faces and feel so comfortable at the dentist. Thank You Tech Ridge Dental!

My family and I have gone to this practice since 2018. They’ve taken care of us from the start and through the pandemic.

We love that they have our dental care covered, handle all of the insurance details and are always friendly and welcoming. One of the best parts is the ceiling TVs with a huge selection of channels.

I’d confidently recommend this practice to anyone!

It was very good and Paige did a wonderful cleaning. She is a very sweet and gentle. My teeth feel nice and clean. Thank you so, your office is the best!

After receiving a crown, my daughter developed an abscess on her gum. I notified Dr. Minnie over a weekend who immediately prescribed antibiotics to prevent the infection from spreading even more. The side of her face continued to swell over the next couple days so I reached out to Dr. Minnie for an update about it and she prompted me to take her into the office on Monday (her off day) so she could treat her ASAP!

The level of concern, care and urgency was so reassuring as a mother! She safely extracted my daughter tooth and got her back to her normal self!

That’s not all… a few days later we received a small token of love from Dr. Minnie in the mail, a gift card to Starbucks for my daughter! Omg as if she hadn’t done enough.it melted my heart to know how much she cared to show my daughter that she was loved

I gave my first 5 star review 5 years ago and still have nothing but great things to say about everyone here. I've moved twice and have to travel an extra 30 minutes but never thought about going anywhere else. Couldn't recommend more!

I always have a wonderful experience regardless of the nature of the visit. Both doctors are stellar and treat you like family! It’s great catching up with them, just regret that I only see them twice a year. I wish every healthcare experience was as good as here. This office has set the bar extremely high!

Update 3/2021: Just a cleaning, but I had my position "eliminated" so no insurance. I found out Tech Ridge has their own plan for those of us without dental coverage-it gets you 2 vleanings, xrays, and exam for a nice discount, and ensures a discount for emergencies. Sign me up! Now if only I could get my wife to not "fear the dentist" in general.

Update 12/1/2020: Went in for a cleaning and get a filling for a small hole that appeared in my tooth. Fast work, and painless-I even got to see digital pics before and after, and my dentist followed up a couple days later to make sure all was well. In a nutshell, this place cares about its clientelle. The staff is always ultra-frienfly. And they figure out the insurance so you don't have to. It's a trifecta!

Update 8/26/2020: Staff is still great COVID precautions are still in place.looks like I need to floss around my bridges more, but at leastbefore I left I hot the pricing w/ insurance figured out gor me for a deep cleaning in the future and filling a small hole in a tooth. Happy as always getying taken care of here.

Update 5/27/2020: Things are as good as they can be with COVID-19. Sonic tools are barred but my cleaning was fine and procedures are in place to stay safe. I come here 3x/year and don't review each time, but I'll reiterate the staff is great and billing is the easiest I've had anywhere with insurance.

Update 5/28/19: Routine cleaning, great service.my wife's insurance decided her tooth replacement was a pre-existing condition since her company used a different insurer the year before and she was in progress.utter BS.but Tech Ridge was willing to work out a payment plan, though I just paid for the post they installed in full when I found out. Another display of customer focus at TechRidge Dental.

Update 5/1/18: I came in for a routine cleaning, but chatted about my wife's insurance-she's on mine and has hers-same ins.company, but boy, the ins.company was lost applying benefits from each.here's what's great about Tech Ridge: they took care of all the red tape and headaches dealing with Cigna.that's the kind of service you get at Tech Ridge Dental. Stellar folks!

Adding some more from 1/3/2018. No changes in service or people. I got to see the other dentist this time.he's as good as his wife. They really pay attention here and work the extra mile to see that you're in the know and satisfied-there just aren't businesses anymore that seem to care about customers 1st.this is one that differentiates itself through customer care, however-from gentle handling if your dental work to really helping with billing and maximizing your insurance. A+

2017: Adding to this from a new visit- Friendly staff, great dentist, and everyone is gentle with the person in the chair. Communication is always ongoing and procedures, costs, opinions, insurance, etc.are discussed with all options laid out-very transparent. You can trust your teeth and wallets here and know that pain is a foreign word during cleanings and fillings (I've had each).

1st Visit: Great team! I searched around for a dentist.the reviews brought me here. They lived up to expectations. They reviewed my insurance in advance and when I arrived, a tech was out so I had my teeth cleaned by 1 of the actual dentists! Very gentle and thorough. You can tell they like to know people here, not recruit clients-the difference may be lost on some, but this is differentiation through personalization-and it works. I highly recommend them.
