Beautiful store but disapointingly small selection. The tea I wanted had a little bug crawling in it, so I left empty handed. Won't be coming back.

Beautiful shop with a nice selection of bulk tea. Kind of expensive. Nice, knowledgeable staff.

Great spot to enjoy and purchase some authentic teas and traditional Chinese herbs. Wide selection of tea brewing accessories as well.

Interesting tea shop to visit.
Had a variety to choose from. Saleperson was knowledgeable on tea.
Place offers tea party to book for tea tasting, sounds intriguing especially the tea party room. It has tables and chairs carved from woods. Very beautiful and fascinating. Unfortunately I didn't have big enough group for party and price was a bit pricey to have one.
Definitely will put this on bucket list and start saving $$$.

I've been going here for over 6 years. These herbs have a profound effect on my body and have always gotten great results. I have recommended many people to go here and they are absolutely amazed at their results. A lot of people that I recommended we're diabetic and they always say how much better they feel. In case you don't know how it works, when you go Richard will listen to your pulse from both wrists and basically tell you everything that's wrong in your body. The atmosphere here is so calm and peaceful.

Amazing selection of Asian teas and Teaware. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They also do Chinese herbal medicine consultations.

Overpriced Traditional Chinese tea. It is a great atmosphere to relax though. They don’t serve modern tea like ice tea, milk tea, bubble tea.
But I think tea quality is great!

Insiders tip: Go to a supermarket in Chinatown and buy some good quality Chinese tea and brew it yourself. You will experience more and enjoy it more!

A nice quiet atmosphere for traditional tea. We had a tea tasting and tried Dragonwell, High mountain Oolong, Pu er and Honey Black. Mariana and Pauline was very patient with us and answered all our questions. The tea is reasonably price for loose leaf tea. We come here quite often for our tea.

I've lived a block away from here for 5 years. I finally wandered in and I'm glad I did! Good tea, knowledgeable staff, cozy environment and good prices! Note they only offer hot or loose tea, but well worth it!

The owner was very rude to my father. When his mother previously owned the place, she was very nice and cordial with the customers. Ever since her son took over the store, he has not been ethical in his business practises. My parents ordered the most expensive tea on their inventory and the owner gave us something that was obviously not what they ordered. He refused to stop adamantly arguing with them. We understand store owners are still people too, but the way he handled the situation was very churlish and impolite. The customer is always right; not in the sense they are always correct in their judgement, but it is the seller's responsibility to satisfy the customer, not argue with them.

I have been going to this tea shop for 18 years. I especially have used the pulse reading services, from the father and now the son. My health has improved tremendously. I have referred my family and friends.

Ten Ren Ginsing is not the only place in Houston to get loose-leaf tea, but it is the only one I have found that knows how to prepare it in the Taiwanese style. The staff is very knowledgeable and very eager to help newcomers to Taiwanese tea navigate what can be a daunting experience. The quality and variety of loose-leaf tea sourced in Taiwan is outstanding, and all the equipment you will need to get an authentic cup of tea is on hand and quite affordable. I go there quite often, and there is always a new tea on hand to be sampled.
