Teriyaki 4 U reviews
17The food is very tasty and the service is wonderful by Grace and Shaun! Come check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
This place is my new go-to. I saw an ad for it and decided to check it out since it’s down the street from where I work, and I’m so glad I did. This place has the best Loco Moco I have had in a very very long time (and it’s my favorite comfort meal). The food is amazing with great portions, they cook fresh and from scratch, and the staff is super friendly. I love this place!
Really love coming here! Amazing food and the service is fantastic. The staff was very friendly every time we've come. Favorite dish so far is the Loco Moco, and everything we've tried has been great. Highly recommended!
I had the pleasure of eating here today. The food was savory and fresh. The environment was clean. Service was impeccable. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get a quick bite!
I actually walked from across the street because online pics and reviews showed that this place looked way better to eat. The young lady asked right away if this our first time so she explained menu and options extra stars. Ordered two different options i just have to say the food is full of flavor and presentation looks great I fully recommend
The reviews that people posted made me want to check this place out based off the 4.9 rating that was on Teriyaki 4 u website. The two people (Owner/worker) were very nice. The food had no flavor at all and it felt like I was the last customer of the day based off the size chicken they gave. It was very thin pieces and looked nothing like any pictures posted. The sauce was not even helping when drizzled over the chicken/rice. The rice was your typical rice and macaroni was nothing special. I had very high hopes but honestly will not return. I didn't take a picture but now I wished I did.
Tried this place out and I'm glad I did. The chicken was glazed nicely with teriyaki. The pulled pork with bbq sauce really knocked my socks off. They also have Ramune drink.
Great place to eat Owner is very friendly. Food was great.had the spicy teriyaki the best. Thank you
This place is my new favorite spot to eat in Carrollton. The food has been absolutely amazing. The owner and worker are the absolute sweetest and must be protected at all costs. We are becoming regulars for sure. Thank you for the good food and the special treatment!
Owner is Chef and makes everything by hand, even his sauces! He is legit and needs support
Owner is a very nice Gentleman. The food is great and the sauces are delicious. Tried almost everything on the menu and haven’t had a bad experience.
If you haven’t gone yet you are missing out! I had some of the best tofu I’ve ever had! The homemade teriyaki sauces were awesome! And Shawn was such a gracious cook and host. Wonderful spot you must check out!
Got the loco with Mac salad and crab Rangoons.
Workers advertised everything made in house and they didn't lie. Crab rangoons were def fresh and had a lot of filling in them.
The loco meal was delicious and very good serving size.
Staff was beyond friendly. Would come back to try the rest of the menu
Carrollton often sees new restaurants popping up, and "Teriyaki 4 U" is one of the latest additions I stumbled upon. It boasts eye-catching signage outside and a unique blend of bakery and magnolia farm-inspired decor inside, with a personal twist by owner Grace. The menu, though concise with around 12 items, offers tasty options. I opted for the chicken Katsu, while my friend went for the teriyaki, both reasonably priced at around $13.
The main dishes come with a bed of rice and two sides; I chose macaroni and beef potstickers. There are around eight different sides to choose from, offering variety. The staff was exceptionally friendly; we even had the chance to chat with head chef Shaun, who shared his dream of becoming a master chef and how he smokes pork for eight hours, which resulted in delicious pulled pork. Grace, the owner, a Texas native of Korean descent, also came out to engage with us, discussing her evolving menu and contemplating whether to expand it according to her preferences or stick to what everyone enjoys.
The chicken Katsu was tasty but not extraordinary, I'd rate it a solid five out of ten. However, the homemade Katsu sauce and the entire menu being homemade (nothing bottled) are notable highlights. On the other hand, the teriyaki chicken was outstanding, easily deserving a seven out of ten. I highly recommend trying the spicy teriyaki; they provided a bottle of their homemade spicy teriyaki sauce, which added the perfect kick to the flavors.
If you're an enthusiast for exploring new places and supporting local businesses, "Teriyaki 4 U" is definitely worth your visit. The staff is welcoming, and we felt a genuine connection with them. Supporting their dreams and aspirations is a pleasure, and it's evident that Grace and Sean have poured their hearts and souls into this venture. While the menu is evolving, the star of the show was Sean's strawberry barbecue sauce – a must-try. They're also open to customizing dishes not on the menu if you call in advance, and Sean's various flavored barbecue sauces are intriguing, including a peach one that I'm eager to sample on my next visit.
In summary, my overall experience was a solid nine out of ten. I'm confident that "Teriyaki 4 U" has the potential to become one of Carrollton's standout startup restaurants. It might be slightly hidden, but it's definitely worth trying, especially if you're conscious of your macros, as the protein portions are generous. I couldn't even finish my meal! As a Carrollton resident, I'm delighted to have this restaurant in our neighborhood, and I wholeheartedly recommend paying them a visit for lunch.
Decided to give this spot a chance for lunch and it exceeded my expectations.whenever im working in the area again ill make sure to revisit and try the spicy teriyaki chicken next time
Ordered the food through Uber eats and it was absolutely tasty. The food wasn’t hot but I still enjoyed every bite. The chicken teriyaki was very tasty along with the dumplings. I wish the crab rangoon hand more filling but they were still tasty. 10/10
Great food! My wife loved the Salmon and I loved the Curry Rice.
Super friendly service!
I was having trouble getting my credit card, "tap to pay" working. The very kind and generous owner came out, and said, "let me try my card"! He has a very kind smile, and soon I realized that he had just paid for all of my food. The food was delicious, and fresh with a very homemade tasting spicy sauce. I will definitely be going back to enjoy this food made with love.
