Hey, listen. Are you listening? ! This place is so so SO good! I was just here, minding my own business, visiting Austin for something else, when this place came into my life. I saw the reviews and knew in my heart that I needed to try it out. Like many of the reviews mentioned, parking is a little difficult. The line looks long and wraps around the side of the building but it moves pretty quickly. We waited about 30 minutes total, and let me just say that it was worth it! I tried the brisket, turkey, and a ton of sides. People. I felt the barbecue spirit enter my body. I almost cried in front of everyone. I felt the tender mercy of smokiness bless my soul. It was incredible.

I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good solid BBQ. It helps to know what you want ahead of time (the line moves fast), and it can be a little pricey (depending on how much food you get) but the experience is great and the food is amazing!

Great food, fast service and definitely a hometown family bbq vibe. Love the 3 bbq sauce options, original is delish. Wanting more just thinking about it, a for sure go to again.

Great and uber popular spot in Austin - Very highly recommended. Not going to lie.the food is pricey; however if you're looking for the epitamy of Texas BBQ - This is your spot. I highly recommend the Burnt Ends and Cheddar Sausage - Absolutely delicious! The look, feel and overall ambiance is everything you'll ever need in a barbecue joint! Must visit.

Our favorite stop on our Texas Bbq Tour! Everything we tried was good, meats and desserts! Mac and cheese is to die for! Will be eating here again and again!

Amazing food! Fantastic atmosphere! The brisket was delicious, so tasty and tender. The ribs are a delight, the spicy sausage was seasoned really well, with just meat in there. And the beef was an almost primal experience. Even the sides were incredible. The overall experience is something all together new for me. Shame I can't get there again any time soon.

Great experience at Terry Black's. Great spot to take visiting friends and family. I recommend the family portions for your group. Brisket and chopped beef were great. The jalapeno sausage was some of the best sausage weve ever had! The creamed corn was a little too runny for me but the potato salad and green beans were perfect. The BBQ sauce selection is great for everyone, from sweet to mild and spicy.

Super busy on the weekends but the place is so well managed that you won’t spend more than 5 mins waiting for your food. Amazing barbecue and friendly staff make this a must visit spot in Austin! Try their brisket and Pork ribs. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu really.
