2About 2 years ago he did my surgery he saved my life and I feel so great ever since
I was referred to Dr. Unruh by our Pediatrician! My son needed surgery so we had a consult with Dr. Unruh! He assured he would need surgery but to make sure we had an ultrasound done before!
When it was almost time for surgery I had to take my 8 year old to get blood drawn which he was so nervous about (that left such a bruise). On the day of surgery he was so scared and nervous, he started crying when he had his IV done! They took him to the back ready for surgery!
When we were waiting we saw Dr. Unruh come our way just to tell us that he checked our son and he didn't need surgery anymore and it was best to abort surgery!
To us it was good to hear our son didn't need surgery anymore but at the same time all that my son had to go through could of been prevented if maybe he was checked again before just one last time!
Since they taped his face due to the anaesthesia it got swollen and he developed so many tiny red spots all over his face that took about a week to fade!
My poor son was a true warrior to go through all this!
In all Dr. Unruh is a good surgeon but should check before surgery just one more time! Staff is nice, helpful and polite as well!
