I bought a Model Y. Paint is splotchy and uneven. I reported to Tesla. This repair will require complete repainting of the car. I will will report Tesla's response.

I really enjoyed and appreciated being allowed to inspect and interact with the flagship vehicle without any salesperson up in my face. I must have spent at least a half hour familiarizing myself with the interior features and the head unit. Very nice.

Tl;dr - Tesla gets many things right but fails miserably on service; lack of 3rd party service providers puts owners in a bad spot.

Have a S and love it but hate Tesla's """service""" aspect of ownership. For all the good things Tesla's done they shoot themselves in the foot on service. The failure is their "touchless" service: basically means you can only communicate via text/app/email. No face-to-face or telephone comms (because COVID apparently?) and a lack of 3rd party repair shops forces the owner into a bad spot. For the Houston market you'll need to book out at least a week, probably two, in advance as well to get an appointment. Don't get me wrong, I ain't a fan of dealerships but at least there I can TALK to someone FACE TO FACE vs sending a text into the black hole of Tesla's kafkaesq's named service department only to hear back days later they need to push back your service appointment by another two weeks due to confusion that probably could have been avoided if I could have spoken to person. Frustrating to say the least.

Also want to add my frustration is at the company, not the employees. Employees are doing the best they can under the circumstance but are being placed into a loose-loose scenario by corporate polices.

One of the rudest places I have seen in town.
And when the rudeness was addressed to the other employees who was supposed to be helping us with our appointment they didn’t care to correct it or even acknowledge it.

I asked for the manager’s contact at this point and was told her name is Jen and she’ll be in touch with me after they inform her I wanted to speak to her. (you see the pattern here?).

So here’s a note for Jen in case you don’t get my contact info. I’ll be awaiting your reply.

I’ve been coming to this location since 2011 and the staff has always been very helpful. More recently I’ve purchased a model 3 and a model Y. Mo has been the friendliest guy ever through both purchases. Thanks for fantastic service and amazing cars!

Jordan and Ibrahim are the best! Very helpful and professional. They make every order feel like its their priority even though I'm sure they are dealing with hundreds of people. We plan on converting all of our ICE cars to Tesla. They have made this process very easy and stress free. Can't wait to take delivery!

Tesla is simply the best car for your money. It is computer on wheels with superior technology and performance. For $40k, Tesla Model 3 is the only car worth buying in that price range.
Tesla staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They truly believe in the Tesla's mission. Unlike other car conpanies, there is no dealership, no shady selling tactic.

Lovely people work in this location.

I enjoyed the interaction with people at this showroom, especially with a gentleman named Mo Rizvi. He was extremely pleasant and courteous. In addition to that, he was extremely knowledgeable about the Tesla, as he is an owner of a model 3. I give it to Tesla for hiring the right people.
