WARNING! Students and visitors vehicles will become stolen. There are no security features besides the gate. There are not cameras near visitor parking and residents vehicles are being stolen and broken into by GROWN ADULTS.

I never write reviews but my experience at Tetro Student Village has been absolutely HORRIBLE. DO NOT SIGN HERE. The rent may be "cheap" but it is the most unsafe and dangerous student apartment ever. I had my car STOLEN over the weekend and Tetro did absolutely nothing. There's no security which makes it a prime target for theft, a 3 car hijacking happening in ONE WEEKEND alone. There's no police patrols, gates are left wide open every night & barely work, and it is extremely dark at night. Forget police, only tow trucks will patrol here. Would give ZERO stars if possible, the 3 star rating here is extremely generous. Ask residents here about other crimes that have occurred because this is not an isolated case nor is it the only type of crime that happens here.

Worst apartment complex ever! My friend’s apartment flooded yesterday due to the complex not properly fixing a water pipe in one of the rooms. Now? Her whole apartment is soaking with water! The apartment manager rudely told my friend to get out her office when she was approached with the situation! My friend has no water to clean herself with. She has nothing and the apartment manager is doing nothing! Mold takes 24-48 hours to grow and it’s now about 27 hours now! This complex needs help and I mean major help! Disgusting rude people who have no respect and don’t care about there tenants! If I could give 0 stars, I would. I feel bad for anyone who comes here!

Internet is really bad cuts out all the time so its hard to do work have to use my phone as hotspot to do hw… My room is nice and spacious but comparing the internet service to The Reserve where I lived last year it was 10 times better there.

Awful place to live in.there's no guaranteed parking for residents, very little guest parking, management is awful and it is not a safe place to live in.

Don’t live here! I’ve lived at the Luxx and Aspen Heights (when they were kicking all of the students out) and this is the worst apartment experience I’ve ever had. I can’t even receive packages!

My daughters currently reside here. We will not be renewing our lease. On 10/29/22 into the early hours of 10/30/22 our daughters apartments were broken into and had at least $5,000 worth of property in their rooms stolen. Their cars, including 4 other residents vehicles, were stolen. They live in building 910 and in building 907 a gun went off at about 7 am. They stayed up all night calling the police with no one showing up until 630 am, and they still did not know that my daughters were waiting for them to arrive. Last week there was an attempted aggravated robbery and Tetro said they had added security. This is false. They focus more on towing cars to make money more than they focus on the safety of the residents who are almost all UTSA students. Today the managers have yet to show up to the apartments. We do not have any answers and worse, no one here to ask questions.

The apartment itself is nice. My 2x2 was in good shape at move in and the rooms are spacious compared to Hill Country Place. However, the management/office people have left a sour impression on me even before moving in. You can get hit with hidden/suspicious fees from “move in deals” & even after asking for real proof from my application (app website goes down during move in so you can’t review it) or the lease (after I read it front to back multiple times), the office will say you can’t get around the fees and you must be paid in full before getting your keys. The security at this complex is scary. The front gate has been left wide open for most of this semester so far and the one time it is closed, the gate code machine won’t work for me or the car behind me. At the back gate, I haven’t had much problem so far besides my keycard not being activated yet. However, the space between the fence and the gate itself is wide enough for people to climb through. Lastly, good luck with parking, for guests AND residents. If I didn’t get the paid reserved parking spot, I think I wouldn’t get a spot anywhere close to my building at all. Visitor parking is very limited, especially if you live in the front of the complex. With how little visitor parking is available (I think they’re also filled with residents that can’t get normal unreserved spots), I think you have better luck parking on campus and walking over as a visitor than to try to find visitor parking at Tetro. Don’t worry about trying to get into the complex as a visitor tho because they don’t ever close the front pedestrian gate either.

PLEASE DONT SIGN HERE! I lived here my freshman year. There was constantly being a shots fired at night. There was portions of tetro that had roach infestation. Those were the building in the front so rip… if you get placed there. The very back where the garages are near the back gate DOES NOT HAVE CAMERAS. My roommates car got broken into. It was parked in our garage that have the door down. They stole 2K from her cards. She asked tetro for footage and legit was told they don’t have cameras back there. They also charged me my utility bill 3 months after the actual month.

New management at tetro is trying to extort college students to fix the mess left by old management. They neglected to fix apartment furniture and carpet stains before new tenants moved in. Now they want us to pay for damages that were caused by previous tenants, and they are doing so despite the fact that they never bothered to deal with the roaches, the plumbing, and all the issues left behind by people who had the apartment before hand. This is a joke business i advise anyone thinking about living here go somewhere else.

Lots of roaches, lots of hoops to jump through to get approved and such. Lots of random keys/cards that don't work but they still require you to hold on to. Hasn't been too great but it's student housing so. My toilet flooded multiple times and they were pretty slow to fix it. Much better to go into the office for maintence bc it seems like they don't check the portal

Literally the worst place to live at! When I first got there the apartment was a mess and when we told them about it, they completely ignored us! My roommate’s car got stolen and they did absolutely nothing about it! Also they would literally tamper with my mail! I advise all students to not live here, it really is a waste of money!

No stars if I could! Absolute terrible experience. The day we moved in the apartment was infested with roaches (disgusting) and had to sleep in the model home while all belongings were in the assigned apartment/garage. At that time they were promised new furniture, blinds, carpet cleaned, plumbing issues repaired among other repairs needed a year later we are still waiting. We signed another lease because they are now under new management and promised by current staff things would be taken care of and even criticized previous owners and staff. Fast forward, absolutely nothing has changed for the better. I personally sat down and spoke with the new manager over a week ago and was told we have to be patient because it is important that the new students moving in are taken care of, and have a great experience. (So my daughter and her friends that has waited over a year for work orders to be completed and new furniture are now peasants beneath the new comers.) However, she stated the blinds will be replaced the very next day.it’s been over a week and still we wait. Things has only gotten worse. The plumbing issues reported and ignored for a very long time has become a major problem! The 3rd and 2nd floor flooded today. I guess now they will be living with MOLD because all we hear is be patient! Through it all we the parents have continued to pay ON TIME every month. So why post this? I do NOT recommend anyone live here! Spend your money elsewhere.

I will be living here for my 3rd year and I absolutely love it! They always are giving away treats for their residents like wings, tacos, sonic, etc. I won a whole tv from tetro before I absolutely love it here! The front desk is always so helpful with answering questions and concerns!

Tetro is a great place to live if you enjoy free food and amenities. They have a pool, basketball court, volleyball court, gym and games in the office. If you like space then you will love Tetro, we have our own garage and our place alone has 3 stories. I love the staff as well, they are amazing, especially Erica and Rob the maintenance man. This is my 3rd year at Tetro and I am so grateful I call this place my home!

I love this place! I’ve stayed in multiple units with multiple roommates for 2-3 years while a student at UTSA. They have roommate matching in case you’re solo but you can also easily room with your friends/fam. I use their amenities almost everyday. The gym is nice and convenient, the pool/sand volleyball is really fun, they have a basketball hoop, and don’t forget about the fun games in the clubhouse! The property overall is also easy to navigate and walk around. It’s great for students too because it’s not loud most the time and they have the study space near the front office. I know I can speak for others when I say the office/maintenance staff is my favorite! Super pleasant and understanding. There’s plenty of parking and they’re also super close to UTSA Main Campus! You can easily take the shuttle, ride your bike/scooter or walk to campus.
