Dr. Walters did cataract surgery on both eyes upon referral of the optometrist I saw. Still in first week of recovery, according to follow-up doc (Walters apparently doesn't do follow-ups) everything is OK. I have no pain or blurred vision. Surgery center they use has great staff, Texan Eye Care not so much. Hour wait before I saw Walters on initial visit. No updates from staff as to when I would be seen. At final follow-up, I asked for copy of letter routinely sent to referring optometrist, the clerk didn't know how to operate the practice's software to provide it. When I finally got the printed info, she handed me papers, I asked for an envelope, "we don't have any. " Asked another clerk on the way out and she opened a drawer full. Front desk is more interested in chatting with each other rather than offering excellent customer care. Docs are OK, hope they are better than support staff.

Front office / scheduling is horribly managed. Over an hour late for 2 scheduled surgeries, no heads up or notifications. Seems like an ongoing problem.

I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes performed by Dr. Aschenbeck and couldn’t be happier with the level of professionalism and care. I would recommend her to anyone.

First of all, be wary of the Oakley company, they have horrible customer service …so if you get Oakley glasses from Texan Eye and somethings wrong, you probably won’t get it resolved through Oakley. And you definitely won’t get it resolved through Texan eye. Period. I had a warranty for the Oakley frames and the lenses, & when I used it at the end of my year, I did both of the warrantees at the same time, they …said my glasses were ready …I go to pick them up and the frames are black and NOT bronze. So they just told me that they don’t make the bronze anymore. Instead of telling me before they said my glasses are ready, “Would it be OK to have black frames? ” I would’ve decline because my frames weren’t that bad I could’ve kept the original bronze frame. Now I’m stuck with glasses I don’t really like. Thanks Texan

Arrived at 10: 45 for a 11: 00 appointment and it is now 12: 15 and still waiting. No communication at all regarding the delay.

They are not equipped to handle someone in a wheelchair who need assistance. Their schedulers made false statements that they were equipped to handle our situation. A rolling office chair is not safe for someone who can’t move without assistance.

Wow they are 45 min late happens sometimes so I’ll just get some work done on my computer…Nope they have no WiFi. This is a large medical facilities! My small regional dr has WiFi. I can’t help and wonder how outdated the equipment they use to examine patients is. My last visit here for sure.
