Texas aircooled has everything you need to restore any aircooled vw's great quality parts and services. Ricky is a great guy he helped me restore a vw sandrail. If you need any VW parts or blocks this is the place to get it from if he doesn't have in stock he can get it for you.
Ricky was super cool and answered all my questions. He had most the parts I needed on hand and offered to get the ones he did not. I will go back.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I purchased a New 1776 Dual Port 0 Mile Longblock VW motor from this company on 11/06/2019, PAID IN FULL. I was supposed to receive this motor approximately 01/10/2020. Early on, I received communication with the company, but all communication stopped in late December, 2019. Several attempts at contacting the company by email and telephone were greeted with no response. I have not received this motor and based on other reviews with similar experiences, I doubt I will ever receive the motor. Over 3 months later, I've disputed the charge on my credit card and filed a complaint with the Texas BBB. BUYER BEWARE!
Hard to get on the phone but responds well to email. I have been purchasing engine parts gaskets for rebuilds since he opened up back in 2008. No problems on my end.
Order an engine kit online Jan 26th found out today 1/31/2019 the order was never filled. Called and email numerous times to get answers and got no answers. After 8 hours going back and forth. I cancelled the order. They quickly complied and then said my credit ss code was rejected. Even though I got a confirmed ty for your order. Please don't waste your precious time trying to get parts. They failed to give us any info regarding our order. Meanwhile our VW is still in the shop and costing us daily fees!
