A great event. President's Ball was the best ever. Congratulations to Dr Miller and her staff for always making us feel welcome.

First of all I am very disappointed in that cafeteria food that was served today. They need to take more pride in cooking people food. My daughter had a tour today over there and the potatoes were very salty it hard, biscuits very hard that you can break your teeth. Bacon was the only edible thing. So sad all that money coming into that school and poor food service

Such an overrated school. Waste of money and no job prospects afterwards. That was my experience.
Unfortunately, I was one of those who stayed home for college because I thought it would be cheaper and easier. Cheaper, not really. I still racked up a bunch of debt, yet with the hope of finding a decent job afterwards. With a BBA in Marketing I expected to get a more professional job than insurance salesperson, or car rental salesperson, yet those were the only job offers I was getting in Corpus. I guess the location of this school is one of its main problems, it's in Corpus. Corpus does absolutely nothing to foster growth and create new jobs for the new, younger workforce. Everything is catered to the older citizens of its city. The only way to get a decent job here is if you already know somebody. It's very cliquish that way. That's why all the young people I know end up leaving, they can't make in Corpus. Not unless you want to settle for far less. Thank goodness I finally got the chance to leave.

If you're from out of town and are considering going to school here I would definitely reconsider. If you're from the area and are considering staying for financial reasons, I would definitely come up with a plan to leave after graduating, because you're certainly not going to find a decent job in this town.

We’ve spoken with everyone at TAMUCC on every level, in every office for 3yrs including the Dean.
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will change your gpa from the school you’re transferring from. My husband is a disabled veteran. He graduated from DelMar with a 3.5 gpa and Texas A&M changed it to a 2.7 when he transferred to them!

This is a huge deal, bc now that he’s graduated from TAMUCC he can not get hired on at the employer he got his degree for. Starting at TAMUCC at 2.7 means his graduation gpa was 2.5. Unethical!

This has happened to others as well.

Great campus. Food court, sports, great connection to the bay. Different degree plans, and courses are available.

There is literally not one part of this school that isn't actively trying to make everything horrible. They know they can't possibly be held responsible, so they don't care.
Dealing with housing is like jumping through 100 hoops that are invisible and on fire. They don't tell you anything until the very last moment when it's too late.
Registering for classes is just as hard. I was on track to graduate early and then they change the requirements which made multiple classes not count towards my degree and added new ones that aren't even available.
The security is non-existent. The school is entirely aware of the dozens of bikes being stolen over the course of the past year. Still not a single camera watching any of the bike racks and they will fine you if you keep your bike inside. People try to open your door at any time. Whether it be 3am or 3pm.
The dining hall is closed for every single break with no other options or awful ones. People live here, a lot without personal transportation. That's why the dining hall exists.
They find every way imaginable to make more money off of their students. They will give you 3 parking tickets within 4 hours even with a parking pass, but they be soooo gracious enough to lower the fines after 3 weeks of pending the appeal.
I've heard professors talking about how "stubborn" another professor is and how "they will use a textbook and curriculum until it's completely obsolete".
They will give you 12 hours notice before you move dorms after telling you it'd be a month.
They have partnerships with McGrawHill and probably every other online workbook which means students are forced to pay almost $200 for each class for a membership that teaches students absolutely nothing.

Great Campus! Really cool to be on an island for the students. I saw a lot of respect from the students and the faculty. This year is exciting having a new head basketball ball coach #lutzGo

Homecoming has a great turnout for the tailgate party and look7ng forward to the game tonight!

Love the staff at Texas A&M university. The students are especially those who volunteer for doing the income taxes. These students are very helpful and polite. The build area is clean the university has a welcoming environment.

Wow! What an AMAZING university. The campus is gorgeous but the degrees, faculty and staff are what truly makes this university among the top university's in the state and beyond!

You can see the pelicans on the hike and bike trail very close up and many other birds like blue herons and sand pipers. It was a nice day and interesting signs about the 100 different types of grass. I did not know about that.

A great school and campus with restaurants, a gym, walking trails, and a Starbucks. Parking which you must pay for during school season is miserable if you don't arrive early enough, you'll end up paying again to park in the garage and then walking across campus.

Best property award 2020-2021. Customer service (maintenance technicians, office staff, programs, housekeeping, friendly environment, security, food/restaurants, facilities, walk/jog trail, great beach access, wind surfing, fishing, etc.) I'm currently employed full-time at this location. Top pick for graduates to continue education.
