Great place - friendly atmosphere, clean and very skilled barbers. Went here for the first time last week and Cheena gave me the best haircut I've had in years, easily.

I scheduled an appointment with Kyle for a deluxe beard trim. I was very disappointed. I left with the same feeling as if I went shopping at Walmart in regards to customer service. At one point I asked about tips on maintaining my beard during the week - he suggested I come back for another cut when it gets long. Really? ! He may give good haircuts but I won't be going back for a beard trim.

Wow, first timer and I must say I will be back. Cheena was recommended to me and didn’t disappoint, I get anxiety about new barbers cause I hadn’t found one I like, after feeling nervous she made sure she would get me right and she did just that. I found my go to barber no doubt. Thank you cheena, can’t wait to let you freshen me up again

Great shop. All of the barbers do good work and appointments almost always available if you need a last minute cut. Brent is the man if you’re looking for attention to detail! Perfect cut every time, and great to chat with.

My boy Brent always takes care of me! I have been getting my hair cut from Brent for almost a year. He always does a great job and takes great care of all his customers! I love the vibes of TBS! Great music, great people, great service! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I’ve came here many times before but it was my first time seeing Terry Davis and she was awesome! She gave me a really nice fade and had amazing energy all around. Definitely will be coming back to see her.

I had terry and she was incredible one of the best haircut experiences I have ever had and can’t wait to go back to see her again. Furthermore, the atmosphere of the shop and all the employees there are fantastic as well.

Was told to check this place out by a coworker and specifically that May was the go to. TBS exceed expectations. The place was clean, the music was definitely perfect for just sitting back and relaxing during the cut, and May definitely killed the actual service. Know the downside of glowing reviews is it ends up harder to get appointments, but have to commend a place when they do as well as Texas Barber Service did.

Cheena is awesome, went in with a 6 year old ponytail and left maybe 3 pounds lighter. I was long overdue for a haircut, and I'm glad I picked here as the first barber I've been to in a while. Thank you!

I have been coming here since it opened. Jason and Nicole do a fantastic job with hair thus the reason you are reading the review but more than that they have built a small business that organically became a part of the surrounding community. I consider myself lucky to be a small part of its history.

It’s really hard to find a good barber shop when traveling, but I lucked out with Terry at TBS. Got some great recommendations on enjoying Austin AND one of the best haircuts I’ve ever received. Thanks, Terry! I’ll be back for sure!
