Texas Bistro At Park View, New Braunfels TX

A great place for lunch or dinner! Food is always delicious (stuffed Poblano is my fave) drinks are amazing too!

Holy frijoles! This is the first time me and my wife have tried Texas Bistro, for no other reason than never trying it, but always wanting to… This was the absolute BEST meal we’ve had in the city of
New Braunfels, the tomatillo salsa was fresh and tangy and you have to try the crispy duck poppers! Imagine a twist on the traditional texas staple (jalapeño poppers) shredded duck with cream cheese and jalapeños on a bed of sweet caramelized onions, they were fantastic! The salmon had the perfect amount of seasoning and the salsa verde over the top sealed the deal, the squash was not drowning in liquid, still crunchy but tender, and the rice was perfectly cooked! The pasta is so FRESH! The citrus tones taste better every bite you take, the vegetables and chicken were not dry overcooked or under seasoned. Absolute win! Creme brûlée make in house was the icing on the cake! We will be back many times over whenever we need a date night or to take the kiddos out for a bite!

If you have never been to Texas Bistro, this is definitely a place you should check out. The food here is amazing. Prices are the same or better than Chili's. Way better food for the same cost. Try the Pecan Crusted Chicken. It will not disappoint. Probably the best chicken dish I have ever had.
Update: Went back for happy hour. Their incredible 1/2 pound Burger's are only $10. They come with amazing fries. That is less than a No. 2 with cheese Whataburger. There is no comparison between those.

Went for the 1st time last week & the host and server were absolutely AMAZING. Definitely made us feel at home! The only reason I put 3 stars on the food is because my burger was pretty burnt, but I still ate most of it! The service and atmosphere alone make it definitely worth returning! I am definitely excited to try more things on the menu!

The grilled cheese is made with REALLY thick bread, so if you have a child that is used to regular grilled cheeses, I wouldn't recommend) - the bread was too thick for my 2 year old to eat: (For an adult though it would be absolutely amazing!)

They Always forget to give us the whole meal. Something is missing. Its either food, utensils and/or napkins. But their food is excellent. When your on the go sometimes checking before leaving is a must. Please make sure and then twice more that everything ordered and utensils

Great food and service! The inside is a little cramped, but it's very clean. Highly recommend for adults, but maybe not a large group with children.

Local restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Cool Texas inspired art and photography decor is nice too! Came up from North SA, well worth the short drive.

This place was amazing. Had the crème brûlée French toast, which was incredible, and my wife got the bistro pasta, which she also loved. If you’re in the area, would definitely recommend, especially for brunch.

This is my first visit here with a friend. We were seated right away and server came shortly to get our drink order. But after we received our drinks, we sat there for quite a while. We were ready to place our order, but our server was no where in sight. My friend flagged down another server and she took our order. Then our server finally came back and asked if everything was ok. Umm we had to place our order with another server. My friend told her that we waited a while and ended up giving our order to another server. She tells us she put in that order and that she had to help take food out. The wait for our food wasn't fast nor was it extremely long. I got the blackened shrimp tacos. The food was good, but the shrimp was warm not hot. By the time I got the 2nd taco the shrimp was cold.

Doesn't that chicken club look yummy? And it's delicious too. It's a daily special, so you may to call ahead and see if it's available.

Great place! Very friendly service! Food was good. I thought the steak was a bit tough, but all else was very yummy.

I know it's a tired saying, but "I never write reviews". This place will surprise you. It's small, but mighty. Their food (and drinks) always impress. Seriously. I have paid hundreds of dollars at fancy steak houses, but their ribeye is one of the best things I've ever had. And that's just one example. I don't know how they do it, but they deliver 5 star food at 3 star prices. So glad to have them serving our community. Job well done, Texas Bistro.

Food was well flavored, the vibe was nice, and it has a full bar if you’re wanting a cocktail. I’ve tried two dishes from here so far and plan to give a few more a try that looked delicious.

Food was great. Went here with a group for a nice meal. Service was awesome and everyone’s meal was delicious. The restaurant could have used some background music but would love to come back here!

The first & last time we will dine at Texas Bistro was last Friday.
We arrived early before the Friday crowd. We were a party of 3 taken to be seated at a small table in the bar bar area next to the kitchen. We asked to be seated in the main dinning room that had ample open seating & with only 3 tables with reserved.
The lady would not honor our preferred seating. The food service was very slow over 20 minutes. In our opinion the food is overpriced.

I’m from Dallas and I love central Texas. Texas Bistro is an excellent restaurant.
