Texas Children's Pediatrics Longhorn Pediatrics, Austin TX

Been going here for almost a year. I have enjoyed McMain being our child’s doctor, as he has always taken great care of her and been involved with us regarding decisions about her well being. Also, nurses were great! Never were we pressured to vaccinate either. What ended the relationship as our daughters doctor, was turning us away because we were 30 minutes late. We live over an hour away, and our daughter was sick and had an extreme accident on the way to the doctors appointment. Pair that with downtown Austin traffic at 8am and we weren’t able to be there until 9. We called and were told to make another appointment in March…. ;no thanks; I’ll find a doctor that is able to see our baby at a moments notice ESPECIALLY when she isn’t feeling good!

We have been coming here since 2018, it was recommended to me by my in-law and I love it. I have now 3 kiddos and they love it here as well. They are friendly, very informative, the vibe here is so calm and they are always so professional. Clean room and restroom all the time and they have great wait times. They have after hour dr on call as well as a nurse line for any questions or concerns. They have an urgent care they prefer to go to as well so they have your visit on file. I just love it here. I have both a girl and boy, and now newborn is a girl. So the main dr. Is Mcmains but if you prefer a women. He has APRN, PNP Johnson. I personally do daughter with her and son with him. They are all so accommodating. I don’t see why you would choose else where.
