Texas Children's Urgent Care Pearland

I never thought I'd say that going to urgent care was a great experience. I mean, if you are at urgent care you've experienced something bad right? Well the care at the urgent care can turn your whole situation around. From my initial call speaking with Alane to make sure that they accepted my insurance to to the screener Stella who not only held the door open for my son and I but also screened us to make sure we were safe to come in to the behind the scenes staff, I would say it was a great experience. Any parent would be anxious taking their child to urgent care but the smiling faces were visible even behind the masks. They handled our situation with great care and urgency. Blanca was our MA and she was so sweet. She met us at the desk and walked us to our room. She took the time to explain the check in process and each step that would happen next. Knowing what to expect helped to reduce the anxiety tremendously. Blanca left the room but returned to introduce and assist Sandra. Sandra was our RN who happily explained her part in the process. She was so awesome with Karter. I could tell she really loves what she does and Karter's big smile told me that so could he. Jenilea was the NP and she was so amazing! She was accompanied by Sandra. She introduced herself and explained what would need to be done. She was so kind and super patient. She provided lots of education as to why this particular treatment plan would be the best and answered the questions that were running through my head. This team was really able to anticipate our needs! Jenilea was very gentle when providing care to Karter's injury and he didn't even cry! She went over the signs of infection to be on the lookout for and about how long it would take for him to heal. Sandra came back to discharge us and throughly went over the discharge instructions to make sure I didn't have any questions. We were in and out much quicker than I could have imagined. This is what I would call the dream team! The flow of care was so good! I'm very impressed! These ladies are so amazing. They were just what my son and I needed exactly when we needed it. I highly recommend! We appreciate the goodie bag as well. Thank you all so much!

Very nice staff, went for an X-ray i broke a toe. Thank you Crissel for putting the shoe on for me, and Nayeli for the X-ray process & also Dr.carmen for seeing me.

Very friendly and great with kids! Nurse Veronica did an amazing job at calming my child down and making him feel comfortable by blowing him bubbles. Dr Zhao was also great, she took her time to examine my son and was sure to educate us on what to do to keep up with his care after the visit. Great place!

I want to thank Dr. Bogan, Alane & Nayeli for your great customer service & making my daughter smile even though she wasn’t feeling well. Great experience, I will return & recommend to any parents looking for a pediatric urgent care.

Amazing Staff from front desk, nurses, and doctors! Quickly took vitals while waiting, helped me clean up vomit in the waiting room, administer steroids & breathing treatment and kept my son for observation for several hours (new meds) for croup cough.

I can’t say enough great things about our experience with our chaotic emergency!

Absolutely Love All of TCPs-The best of the best is an oz of describing there care here! It's convenient to were we live and there hours always work perfect for our family. Friends staff, clean lobby and very kid friendly atmosphere. Love having Texas Childrens apart of my childrens lives-the best tool as a mom is having the best care for health for them!

I don’t know why they where today the man in the front desk and the pediatrician.
I wish I knew why they treated me so rude I’m just concern for my child health

Worsts Urgen Care I been to, Dr. Glass Sharifa will never give you a clear answer. She has seen my son twice and she don’t answer all your questions don’t even ask if you have other she just walk out of the room. When you ask her something she will respond really sarcastic. Never going back again I learn my lesson this time spend $125 with insurance just to have better clear answer in the internet than hers she didn’t even took more than 5 minutes to check my son.

We came in and were immediately seen by kind, caring and attentive staff. This was our first visit here and if our daughter ever needs urgent care attention again then we’ll come back here!

Amazing quick service every time! Love that I never have to wait longer than 10 mins. Staff is professional. Have taken my children here many many times and always have a great experience!

Love bringing my boys here. Its convenient, we are usually in and out, and the staff is amazinging.

Dr. Kato and Lance were amazingly compassionate and friendly. They both explained everything I needed to know and to call if I had any questions. They had fantastic bedside manners, make you feel comfortable and are so positive. Lance was attentive to my little one and even made her smile at that unfortunate time. Btw the check in was easy and smooth with a wait time less than 7 minutes. Thank You!

Receptionist, Jullian/ Julliana was rude and unprofessional. Absolutely unacceptable, as the front desk staff is the face of Texas Childrens. It definitely molded my perception of this urgent care center. It was a very negative experience.

I don’t understand all this bad reviews this is a great place to bring your kids after hours for people that work very helpful and friendly staff every time we bring my son he gets better right away they really know what they doing.

Very upset! It seems like everytime I've come here my kids just have a "cold". The doctor always say I THINK it's just a cold and if the fever doesn't go down in 3 days follow up with your pediatrician. So this time around I waited 5 days for my daughters fever to go down and it hasn't so I took her in and SAME thing! They didn't even try to swab and see if she has anything. Always they THINK they know from just looking at her ears and throat. Well they don't know! The first time they thought they knew, my son ended up having strep! The second time my daughter had the flu. This time I'm sure it's something because she has had a fever now for 6 days and has gone through a whole bottle of motrin and tylenol and they said to KEEP giving her that! Really? !? ! You don't think that is bad to keep giving her? Don't they know it's hard on their little kidneys? I feel like they don't know what to do for people and just say to follow up with your pediatrician so they can do the real work. They just want to get your money and get you out of there. I knew I shouldn't have went back but with it snowing here everything is closed. Will never go back!

I don't care for alot of urgent care's but this texas children's urgent care is far by the BEST FOR MY CHILDREN.like as soon as the doctors office close they open. Staff are loving and so are the doctor's!

Went in on a Sunday evening. We were seen immediately. Extremely clean, and friendly staff. Physician even got down on my child's level to demonstrate how appropriate exercise could alleviate pain of affected area.

My 2.5 year old has been to TXC urgent care twice, once with a fractured tibia on Easter and the other time for Hand Foot Mouth, both times I had no idea what was wrong with my child but the staff was very patient with me and my screaming, fearful child; explaining what was wrong and treatment options. They are very welcoming and sweet to the children.

Wow! Very clean, friendly helpful staff, nice knowledgeable Doctor. In and out in about 30 minutes. Great experience. Definitely recommend this place if you need an urgent care.
