Texas de Brazil - Houston reviews
15Came here for the first time last night for our anniversary. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. Our waiter could have been more attentive, as we ran out of things a few times, but was also very nice. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but on our way out I really wanted a picture to capture the memory and Fernando went out of his way to not only get great pictures of us inside but outside too. He was literally in the street to get a great shot and it was an act of kindness that will not be forgotten. We both left wishing he had been our waiter because of how personable and genuine he was. Fernando - you made our night! Muchisimas gracias. This restaruant is lucky to have you.
Food was great. My advice ask your waitress or waiter for lightly salted. Your body will thank you later. My favorites are the lamb chops, spicy picanha, and surprisingly the bacon wrapped chicken.
Food and service were okay but I really can’t believe they wouldn’t accept my card because it didn’t had a chip as a prestige restaurant they should be open to all types of payments that was a total bummer.
Used to be good. Tried it again after 5 years and it was noticably declined in quality. Cutting a lot of corners (that is limiting the collection of meat offered) and the service was annoying by all means. They don't have those little cards you'd flip to red to stop them from bugging you while eating! Can you believe that? We spent more time telling them "we're good for now" than eating and chatting. The server was slooowww and confused. I am extremely disappointed. Would not recommend this place to anyone anymore.
Extremely overpriced. The meat seasoning & flavor is just OK. I must admit that all of the meat is tender. I get the ambiance they're creating, but it is way too dark. Most people can't eat that amount of food in 1 sitting, so in my opinion you're kind of wasting your money.
Everything was on point. Service, food, and drinks were amazing. Definitely want to check this place out
Best Sirloin I've Ever Had.
If you're a meat lover, this is a must have. It's all you can eat amazingness. The lamb is tender, the pork is perfect, but the beef is the real star. The sirloin is so tender and juicy, you will wish you could eat your body weight in it.
They have a nice selection of wines. Young children get special discount pricing so we were able to take kiddo without spending a fortune on him. The salad/ cheese bar is great and the service is attentive. Just go. You'll love it.
Wow This place is incredible the food keeps coming and coming and each serving is always outstanding delicious as F! If money is not a problem and you want to impress someone, or for that very special moment this is your go to place!
An incredible experience. Food is delicious. Service is excellent. Very clean and courteous.
The food was just okay, but the place smelled really strongly of BO the whole time which was very off-putting and made eating the meat kind of gross. Everyone was very nice though.
Good steak house. They have a nice salad bar. Some items probably needed a bit more seasoning because they tasted pretty bland. Overall good experience.
No 5 star but high quality and frienly service a little slow at the beginning but all ok. Plenty of food for your buck but its not cheap.
Meats were good. However, I specifically chose this churrascaria because they listed papaya cream on their menu. This was my birthday dinner and I was disappointed that I chose to have dinner here and ended up without the dessert I was looking forward to eating. Their website menu is inaccurate.
Poor service. Gauchos kept dripping meat juices all over our shoes and clothes during our experience. I don’t expect to have stains on clothes and shoes when going out to dine.
I spoke with the manager on duty and my husband even saw him rolling his eyes as I walked back to the table. Very unprofessional behavior from management.
I didn’t know if I dined here I needed to wear a poncho. After two complaints the manager did absolutely nothing at all to amend the service.
I didn’t pay $50 per person to have meat fat and juices spilled on my dining party.
Management here is horrible. Save yourself the grief and go dine at another Brazilian restaurant as I’ve never had this happen at Fogo.
