Texas Department of Health & Human Services Office reviews
8The worst place to try to get help they can’t give you no information they lie about everything they don’t want to help
Dont bother driving all the way dwn according to the only living person there the caseworkers all work remotely
Not everybody knows the correct way to fix the problem in the first place. Wait time was about 15 minutes with only 3 people in the office.
My first time calling to a local office and the lady on the phone was rude. She didn’t offer any additional help to the issue I’ve been having for over 4 weeks even though the distance office told me to call them specifically and said they’d be the place that can help me. An “ I can’t help” is one thing but an I don’t give a f attitude is gross.
They don't answer the phones. Called and was on hold for over an hrs and still didn't get anyone. Hung up and called the next day exactly at 8am when they opened. While typing this I'm still on hold. It's almost an hrs and nothing. They need better representatives to answer the phones. Doesn't even deserve a 1 star.
I am getting a complete run around from everyone. It's ridiculous that the employees of the state care so little. People depend on the services that Health & Human Services offer and the employees should be able to accomodate each and everyone accordingly. They should be knowledgeable in the services they offer and if they don't know something, should find out. Unfortunately what we are stuck with is unknowledgeable, lazy people, that could care less about the fact that they are there to help.
I loved my 20$ a month in food stamps on disability (ssdi) which still puts me under the poverty line. YAY TEXAS you really care.
The woman behind the counter was rude. She pretended to make copies of my application and paperwork. When I called the office back to find out what was happening with my application, they told me that they only had the first two pages of it and hadn't been able to process it. I asked if they had the birth certificate and all the other documents, and they did not. That woman should be fired!
