My son and I had such a positive experience today. We were greeted with friendly smiles. Plenty of laughter and jokes from several employees to help calm my sons nerves. My son received valuable feedback after his test on what he was marked down for and how to improve. They also made sure we got a chance to take a few pictures with the DL sign in front of his car. Thank you Abilene DPS!

I can literally never get an answer on the phone. It doesn't matter when I call, how many times I call, who I call, I never EVER get an answer. It's driving me insane how bad the customer service is. It's also an issue when I'm actually there, the people working the desk when you first enter the building are always very short with me and make it difficult to have a decent conversation. Over all, the customer service really needs work.

They were nice and the lady that helped me was very nice. Made it real easy for me to renew my driver's license

I am new to Texas and had to get my drivers license changed and my teenage son was getting his learner's permit. It was by far the best experience I have ever had at a drivers license office. Actually, the best government office I've ever been in. I've lived all of the country and been to many government offices but the Abilene location far exceeded my expectations and made getting our licenses a breeze. The employees had a positive attitude and worked hard to make sure they moved in a timely manner.

Very friendly staff. Listens and attends to your concerns promptly. Can't be disappointed upon visiting this office.

I though they had great service at this DPS. Once I came back to take my test for a third time, they were efficient and quick. The driving instructor was friendly and quick.

I drove from ft worth to get one of my daughters address changed on her license and the other one an ID card. The staff at this office was amazing and went above and beyond to help me. Heather really went out her way to help. Lautrice took care of us to and got us out in 30 mins. I would gladly make the drive again for service like this.

Officer Christopher Romo is unethical, a liar and does not deserve to be working in the capacity of his profession. He demanded me to "come" to collect my son's vehicle after my son's arrest by another officer for a DWI. Mr Romo then proceeded to make a false police report. $10,000 later and a DWI class C misdemeanor charge that I must live with for the rest of my life I am speaking out. If you EVER or Have EVER encountered this officer PLEASE CONTACT ME. I made my official complaint to Austin Texas.
After an investigation by the Abilene DPS my complaint was dismissed. Surprise! My body cam video and audio were tampered with and I will not be silent. Too many people trust in authority.this person is NOT to be Trusted!
Nor the city of ABILENE who defends corrupt officers.

We were served at the Ballinger, Texas satellite location and our experience was excellent. They were kind, professional, efficient, and friendly. Two thumbs way up!

The best experience I have yet at the dmv today! All of the ladies are extra nice and helped me out! Natalie went above and beyond when my proof of residency would not go through via email. We were in and out in 15-20 min.with getting my daughter her permit.

Wonderful staff, had to get a new Birth certificate and return, they let me retrieve that and come back without making a new appointment, I forgot the name of the gal at front desk but she is INCREDIBLE! Megan helped me and they got everyone in and out within 15 minutes, BEST DPS OFFICE!

Heather and Mia were absolutely amazing! By far the best experience at a DMV office. No wait and everyone was awesome!

Trying to obtain some info on obtaining a DL, I went to DPS in person as the online info often leads to more questions than answers. I was pleasantly surprised on how well organized and ready to accommodate they were. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you for all your help.
