I did not like the customer service in this area. They are always intimidating and unapproachable.

Traveled two hours away for this appointment. Made sure we had all documentation prepared. Everything was fine until we had this representative (white lady) that was very dry and short with my mother. Last minute, she tells us that their system isn’t able to verify her documents so they rescheduled us.
Come to find out from another TX DPS representative (at a different location) that their system was fine and the lady never set us up for another appointment. We believe this lady was racist because whenever she asked my mother about her nationality, her demeanor was off and then we found out she never rescheduled us for the date she offered.
People like this shouldn’t be working this sort of occupation, please look into this.

Highly dis-organized, expect for kind lady that gave me the online form / and instruction; Don't really appreciate racial profiling, especially coming from another hispanic (lady in the booth by the bathroom) ; very unprofessional, especially when merely, trying to get address changed on a drivers license; Or the attitude when confronted about it; Work on how we treat others with kindness and fairness

In and out in 30 minutes! Just use the website and schedule an appointment. Arrive 30 minutes before appointment and use your cellphone to confirm the appointment. It is easy and the people are very helpful. But if you don’t have an appointment it is not easy.

They tell you make an appointment, which makes no sense, because the appointments aren’t until 3-4 months later.then you go in there and there’s nobody working, they’re just on their phones and laughing at gossip.some people need help NOW and not 3-4 or 5 months from now… the Hispanic lady up front is completely uninterested in anybody’s issues or problems and is the main example for the way this place works and is operating… EVERYBODY in this place needs to be fired if they can’t handle the stress of this job.especially when nobody’s even working on anything, except a Facebook post or watching funny videos on YouTube.wouldn’t even give them 1 star.

In and out in less than 30 minutes. Make an appointment online and it saves you so much time. Also there's alot of stuff you can do online like renewals stuff

Least helpful employees I've ever met. Second you step through the door they're mad you exist.

Place has changed, went at 8am to get a license. Now it's appointment only. Anyone who tried to ask a question only got "make a appointment by the qr code, same day appointment available" as a answer like a broken record. The soonest appointment is 60 days out. If you need to renew either do it early or prepare to be a outlaw for 2 months.

Don’t look 1 star reviews, all are written by people who don’t know how to book appointment. It took me less than an hour to get my dl renewed. Lady at the front is so helpful, they we’re doing wake in until 9 idk after that. Nobody does that.

Don’t waste your time with this place, I’ve been in and out 5 times trying to get my drivers license for the first time since February and no luck, different excuses every time, appointment dates are ridiculous, I got so fed up with this place that I left and made a appointment with Hillsboro and let me tell you It’s worth the 35 minutes drive to Hillsboro, very polite and friendly staff and was in and out in less than 2 hrs I highly recommend you go to the office in Hillsboro than this place

Absolutely horrible, rude people, horrible experience. The system is down so you reschedule the people a whole month out? Horrible horrible experience!

Went to get a state I'd and got told the system was down I would have to come back in another month this is keeping me from getting a job

I had an exceptional experience at the Texas Department of Public Safety! We drove from South Dallas. The wait time was surprisingly short, which made the whole process efficient and convenient. The staff members were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout my visit. They went above and beyond to address my needs and provide clear instructions. The overall atmosphere was peaceful, making it a stress-free experience. I highly commend the Texas Department of Public Safety for their outstanding service. A definite 5-star rating!

I had a special circumstance and the lady at station 8 was verry help and tried multiple times to get me taken care of when others were busy.

So friendly and helpful. We drove 2 hours for my daughters permit, and they helped ease my worries as soon as we walked in. Appointment time was 10: 30. Check in was efficient. We were out by 11: 15.

Dreaded my trip to the DMV today. And they didn’t disappoint! As a life long resident of the State of Texas I will say that after my experience today, I’d rather live anywhere than this state. And they wonder why people go crazy. Making it impossible, even as a natural resident, to get identification. Almost every person in there was upset and frustrated. Do better, Texas.

Was there about 30 minutes got our business done and gone. Staff was moving pretty quickly helping all of us who were there.
