Super quick and friendly staff. Got there at 8am for an 8.15 appointment, was done by 8.16.

Went to dpS to renew my license. And I was told that in order to do any task up there u will need to make an appointment which could be up to few months away. No one was up there. Maybe 10 people. Fortunately you can go to any location in the state of Texas.

My husband updated his work authorization/drivers license in less than 15 mins. He commented on how pleasant the staff was.

I have booked an appointment for Thursday at 5: 30 pm but as per the official website it says office will be closed at 5: 00 pm on Thursday. Looking for the correct timings

More polite staff and quicker service than the first sites I chose, Grand Prairie and Dallas Mega Center.

My ID was stolen and needed replacement ASAP. I had to book a same day appointment at 7: 45am (when the booking system refreshes) since early morning walk-ups are no longer accepted.

It was easy to navigate. The front desk people were very helpful to get you check in, identify all documents required, and form to be filled. The wait time was less and easy to get your process done when you have advance appointment booked.

Great Job you folks. Renewed my lics. No wait time. Thank you for your work. Here it is now in 2023. Spent two hours on the phone and their web site. Got the pdf. File but won't let me enter anything. Got my wallet stolen need a replacement. Scheduled Apt.soonest is Nov 15 2023. This is Aug. Guess I can drive around like an illegal. Ill be ok then just tell the police no English. Maybe ill get a free motel room with free food and medical.

Don't bother going there unless you have an appointment. They do not take walk-ins anymore

Logged into their site around 8: 30 am and got the same day appointment for 11: 45. Got there about 20 min earlier, filled up the form and had to wait for some 15 minutes. At the counter it took some 12 minutes to get done with fingerprints, photos, vision test and all the procedure. Location was very clean. Entire staff was nice, pleasant and helpful. Pleasant experience.

Pro Tip: Stay Calm and also there is a secret for same day appointments. All appointments are booked months out. But starting around 7a.m. Continuously search for appointments available. Took me about 45 minutes but I found one and was done and out under 30 minutes from checking in. Remember to vary your location cities where you are willing to travel. Best of luck and be kind. Those folks are working hard to help you out. Don't forget your documents

Today I wanted to update my post about my next experience going to the Hurst location. The staff was nice and friendly, informative and willing to help.
Save precious time by being prepared with the proper documents. Read carefully the items you need, go online and download the rule book to study for your test! Be sure to book your appointment so you will have smooth sailing.

I had to renew my driver’s license in person. I had to reschedule a couple of times, which sucks because it takes sooooo long to get a new appointment, they were about 4-6 weeks away, but having an appointment made it so easy. I was out in less than 15 minutes (and I had my toddler with me). I needed my passport and old driver’s license and they gave me an application to fill out. The ladies at the front were very friendly and kind.

So, I tried to come in to renew my expired driver's license in person so I could update my ten year old picture, because I'm cool like that. I took time out of my day, a hot day, dealt with traffic jams to get all the way there, only to be told that it's appointment only. It takes alot to get all the way out there, anticipating waiting in line for who knows how long, just to be told all that and be turned away. So, because of that, I went to see if I could just renew online with the same picture, and guess what? The process couldn't have been smoother and I have my temporary license.
That's what I get for trying to be accommodating. Is this what my tax dollars are paying for? Go kick rocks.

Had an appointment. Arrived early, checked in, took about 15 minutes to get my DL renewed. People were nice and helpful. Took longer to get there than getting the renewal.

I went there to the office today. The ugly white old woman who stand at the front koisk told me that we didn't do without appointment. During I register appointment, one of the woman come here without appointment and she asked the old ugly white woman how to do appointment? She called to her koisk and gave her the same day appointment paper. The woman take that paper and sat to the chair. That the woman who working at the front koisk was so racist. She is not deserve in this job.
