Drove 1 hour & 20 mins for my drivers test with all my paperwork needed to just to be told it was a two appointment process?

Appt. Required! All goverment agencies need to to be reminded who they work for, I will get there when I want to!

The entire experience was so fast and easy. My appointment was at 4, got there at 3: 45, and was back in the car by 4: 03 with everything I needed. Definitely recommend this place

I had already made my appointment since I didn't get a reminder, I went in person. The lady was very helpful.

Took two of my kids to get id and drove 50 min to get here 1st lady bothered by me confirming what I have is needed as if she was in a rush to take first person. Second Lady after 30 min says the system is down currently we can wait or she can help get an appointment to ask how long before we can get one she says a week and I go to reschedule and show next available date is 25th I ask if she can help and she says 25th I said two no we can wait to see if system comes up she rolls her eyes and says okkkkk but just so you know system has been down since Friday. She one she lied about getting us back in within a week rolled her eyes and three in stead of waisting our time could have mentioned since we got there system been down for days. All in all I wouldn’t recommend scheduling here

Caldwell, TX DPS was Great! Ladies Very Helpful & no wait - getting Driver's Permit was easy as we were Well prepared ahead of time w/all Forms filled out & all Req'd Docs!

Worst customer service! It is a small office. The lady attending seems bother with questions and treated us really badly. We drove far checked in on the way there, and when we arrived, she said we were too late. Her attitude was horrible!

Very nice drove about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get here very quick and friendly.
The lady at station 2 is very nice and I love her, She is very helpful. Will recommend this place to anyone definitely worth it.

Booked an appointment and an hr after arriving I finally spoke to a clerk. My biggest beef is they let two ppl without appointments ahead of several of us with appointments waiting. Once it was my turn though it went fast.

You cannot call and talk to them about what you need to bring ahead of time. No reason you should need a birth certificate for a driver's license renewal when you have brought your driver's license and social security card. They are appointment only scheduled online weeks in advance. Not everyone has access online, but most have a phone they could call to make an appointment, that is if you could actually call them.

Surprisingly positive experience. Kind workers, and quick service. Do have your insurance liability cards printed off as proof of address instead of bringing them in on your phone because they will not be accepted.
