Laila was very professional and helpful/asked pertinent questions and followed through with what she said she would do. I felt VERY comfortable with her care, concern and qualifications.
Great addition to dr Holt's wonderful care!

The Doctors are really nice, their insurance coding team is not the best, had to call them twice and still have not made the corrections needed.

I’m so grateful for not only the professionalism of this office but the sincere care for their patients. At every point they go the distance for me and have gone above and beyond the level of standard care! I’m glad to be a patient!

I agree with those who rave about Dr. Cox, he's truly a great gastro doctor, however he has since retired. I also have to say Dr. Anita Steephan is pretty awesome too. These two doctors were really made you feel at ease as they describe in detail the procedure. (Cox hiatal hernia 2015, Steephan's colonosopy 2019)

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND THERE STAFF IS RUDE, I SAW A DR PATEL BACK IN 2016 AND STOP SEEING DUE TO NO RESULTS. MY ONCOLOGIST DOWN STAIRS IN TEXAS ONCOLOGY RECOMMENED I SEE A DR. HOLT. I WENT TO ALL THE TROUBLE TO GET A REFERRAL FROM MY PCP AND WENT BY TDDC TO SCHEDULE. I WAS TOLD BY LINDA A THE FIRST DESK UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES COULD I SEE AND DIFFERENT DR.
SORRY YOU CAN GET A SECOND OPINION OR SWITCH DR. S IN THIS PLACE.
PATIENT HAS NO RIGHT TO CHOOSE HERE AVOID THIS RUDE BUNCH

Dr Patel has been an amazing doctor. I had an issue with my liver. He tested put me on a regime and it cleared. I could highly recommend.just had another procedure with Dr Patel. He really knows his stuff. If you are over 50, he needs to be one of your specialists.

I began seeing Dr. Nishant Patel at TDDC Flower Mound in January 2017 for many issues and began treatment lasting several months. While recovering from a major surgery for other health problems this year, I developed separate issues that required me to reach out to Dr. Patel’s office again. While under his care, he ordered a CT scan to see why I was developing a lump on my abdomen around the surgical incision area. It showed a hernia, which allowed me to contact the surgeon again to get a second operation. But the CT scan also had abnormal results that concerned Dr. Patel and I had to wait 2 more months after the operation to get a redo CT scan. This time another new concern was in the report and was referred back to surgeon.
I am writing this review because I am so appreciative that Dr. Patel took the path of “better to be safe than sorry”. I just got good news from both the surgeon and Dr. Patel that all is OK – reassured me no abscess or cancer and improving. I would NOT want to be a patient of any doctor who did not take this approach of being thorough and cautious to check a concern no matter the outcome. I will be forever grateful that he ordered both CT scans; I am blessed to have both a wonderful gastroenterologist and surgeon in Flower Mound who provided me the best care so I could have the outcome I did. This is the healthiest I have been in 5 years. By doing what Dr. Patel did, absolutely, helped to quickly get the second surgery and to speed up my recovery.
To take a few minutes to write a patient review is the least I can do to say thank you and I have and will continue to highly recommend Dr. Patel when anyone asks for a gastroenterologist recommendation in our community and I am thankful I am a patient of Dr. Nishant Patel at TDDC Flower Mound. I was very disappointed with my first (and only) visit to this place.

My doctor did a poor job of explaining herself, to the point that she seemed to change her mind about two tests I was considering in the middle of our discussion without telling me. I went to checkout thinking I was going to get test A done, only to be told they were going to schedule me for test B, a much more expensive and involved test.

To make matters worse, I was supposed to get a prescription in the interim, only to find out that the prescription was never sent. I called the next morning to ask them to send it again and it STILL wasn't sent, and since that was a Friday I had to wait from my Thursday appointment all the way until Monday to get my prescription.

I will definitely be looking for a second opinion/different GI for the future.

Dr Patel has been an amazing doctor, for my husband. He's been seeing him since my hubby was in the hospital for separate issues months ago. Now, he is taking all the steps to ensure a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. We will continue to go there. Also, their offices are very nice and I like that the paperwork is now done on tablets.

Dr PATEL was a huge disappointment. Actually instructed the nurses to tell my husband to get a new doctor because he kept calling to tell him what he was doing wasn't working.
Found a new doctor (Barry Sanders) and within a week sent my husband for a sonogram and CAT SCAN. Now 2 weeks later he is finally feeling care for and on the way to getting healthy. Something Dr. PATEL could not do in months.

Was treated for Crohn's by Dr. James Cox for years until we moved out of area, and he's one of the best in the field. I sure wish we had him here. He not only is one of the more educated and experienced gastroenterologists, but he also treats his patients extremely well. You definitely can't go wrong by making him your choice.

Dr. Andrew Holt is THE BEST. "Walks softly but carries a big stick". Meaning he is a quiet man but very knowledgeable and deeply concerned about his patients. He has a calming and steady demeanor. I've had Crohn's Disease for 22yrs and had multiple doctors, he, by far is the BEST!
