Texas DPS Credit Union reviews
7This CU is open to the public and has some AMAZING staff members. Monique and Marquita have helped me so much. I appreciate great customer service! Keep up the great work ladies!
I've been here for over 25 years and I have to say that this place has gone down in service all the way around. Can't get help with anything anymore and that they have started charging you for transferring your own money is complete BULL! I've started to look for other places due to this
The DPS credit union is a great place when it comes to holding/handling your funds. Going in person is always a pleasant time, they’re always there to help you right then and there. But when it comes to on the phone, the customer service lacks communication and full transparency. When requesting documents and trying to hear back about the confirmation about them, you can go ahead and assume they will not call you back. The supervisor there is hardly there to assist customers as well. So if you’re trying to look for a credit Union to enroll yourself in, go ahead and look elsewhere. On top of that, their website and app is below average and needs a lot of help. It’s not efficient in any way and the back in tech of it is sub par.
This credit union is not the same as it use to be. Employees do not tell you if you are being put on hold, just an abrupt end to converstations.the credit card "department" is not accurate at all in information provided. Playing phone tag for an hour or a day is not how I want to spend my time. Also, the lack of phone security is concerning.now days any person can get your social or date of birth, they ask nothing more to then send out your account number on documents, they don't verify email addresses before sending either. My other financial institutions verify way more to ensure accounts are kept secure.
Beware after using mobile deposit and endorsing check, check deposit will be rejected due to not writing for mobile deposit, yet their mobile app doesnt state anywhere to endorse in the manner they ask for, will use other bank for mobile check deposits.
I have been banking with Dpscu since 1991, today I'm saddened to say was Not a good experience. I attempted to do an e-check deposit for hours yesterday, only to call and be told system down, then I physically take check to deposit or cash only to be told they cannot do either do to being endorsed for mobile deposit, which is still not working properly. Terrible customer service today, Kim.
