3I called the 1800 emergency number for help with my mom who is mentally unstable and needed APS involved but it backfired on me when I told Melanie Rios, a case worker there that i needed help putting my youngest son in school and getting his social and birth certificate to enroll him. Internal Affairs needs to look in to this department. They put children in foster homes when there is family that will take in a child if they dub the mother to be unfit. Who puts a child in foster care when the child has family who is willing and able to care for them? These people do. HOLD FAST TO YOUR LITTLE ONES.
They have a 75 yr old man taking care of a then newborn, now the child is 1yr old, child is not a relative, he has been asking for help from them to take the child and they tell him he's doing a great job. Do your job.
One of their social workers is an absent parent, evading child support in another state, has a history of abuse, and is here determining who is a fit parent. Laughable.
