4Applied for a new passport here! Definitely the place to go if you can't find an appointment and need one ASAP. I got here at 6: 30 am and was about #20 in line. At 7: 30 am they start letting people in to get on a wait list, I got on the waitlist at about 8, got the call to come in at 9: 15 ish, and was done with the appointment by 9: 45. Super fast and easy, friendly staff, very good for getting a passport quickly
Arrived on Friday at 7: 15,43rd in line, on waitlist at 8: 20 and got called at 10: 30
Arrived on Monday at 7: 05, ~15th in line, on waitlist at 7: 50 and now and got called at 9: 15
Need to line up before 8 to get a spot on waitlist, then you can leave afterwards until they text you to return
Staffs are friendly and know what they are doing to make the process as painless as possible, recommended.
Our experience was awesome. The staff are super courteous and efficient. TAKE NOTE: . Because this is first come first serve, you must GET THERE EARLY! We arrived at 6: 30am and we were 10th in line. Don't blame them, it's the unfortunate nature of the passport application system, which is horribly overburdened.
As of the time of this writing, Texas Global was only allowing 40 people at a time. The passport office was closing at noon. Although they tell you to get there early, the day before I got there at 7: 40 AM.and the line was already 40+ people deep so I wasn’t able to get it.
The next day I was there around 6: 20 AM and I was about 15th in line. Once you get inside you are put on a waiting list and depending on your position in line you’ll have to wait again, they send you a text when your time comes. For myself I had a total wait time of around 80 minutes before I was called. The actual process itself is quick, I suggest you start your application beforehand have everything you need and then some to speed up the process.
The wait time sucks but being a walk up service is great. Highly recommend coming here over the Post Office if you’re in a hurry. Staff was friendly and highly knowledgeable. There were 4 people working on the day I was able to get in. The parking garage across the street is relatively cheap.
