Texas Guandi Temple, Houston TX

I came here with my sister on October 31st. We sat and meditated. Very nice and spiritual. All are welcome.

I recommend this temple especially Master Cheng he is always meditating and we love his teaching master Chang just moved from California to Houston Texas

Gorgeous temple, intricate details on the deities. Shoes not allowed inside temple so try not to come with sweaty feet!

I learned of this temple in 2006. I had a lot of trouble, but it was the most peaceful place to visit.

Now that I live out of town and in lockdown, I would like to send online donations.

I lived here from year 2000 - 2007. I started together with Phra Ont, my student. We did our routine: morning chant, evening chant, serving people visiting temple, give consultants and teach people morals, Buddhist rituals, warmth welcome other monks from all directions to stay and gave service to people. Sometimes Tibetan monks, Chinese monk stayed and did their activities, renovating temple and brought in holy statues. The main Buddha statue etc, visiting other temples, houses and traveling to visit other states, and we did monk duties.
This temple is a holy temple. Guandi statue is made from one big piece of wood. And all othe statues from Vietnam brought by My Ly Liang the owner of MT Wholesale. All statues were very holy and beautiful. These holy statues had been prayed and invited holy power from heaven by many holy monks. Luangpor Jamnian was one of ten and hundred monk that pray for greatest holy power to all statues. Many people had problems came to asked for help. They were successful and had better lives. Whoever wants blessings should go to visit this holy temple.
There are many things that this temple has helped people relieve from suffering.
May this temple always help people free from sufferings and be happy.

A welcoming place of prayer for all people. They know Chinese, Vietnamese, and some english. They have regular services and are open for individual prayer, meditation. My papa and I used to come here, and when he passed and it was just me left, they were helpful and supportive of my healing spiritually. It is peaceful and refeshes you mind, spirit, and body.
