LOVE THIS PLACE. Unlike Golds or Tru, having to wait for a machine just finish your workout is just annoying. None of that here. I can get in and out no issues and staff is super friendly. Only suggestion I would make is adding a T-Bar to the equipment selection but everything else is great!

Is this Gym still open? Cant get a hold of anybody.
Anyone know if the FM78 location is still open?
Odd that its so hard to reach anyone.

This is a super nice gym. If you are in the area or visiting…. This is the gym to come to.

Tried to sign up with them because I would rather support local businesses. I followed the instructions on the email when I signed up online to come in based on the hours of availability. But each time I did no one from management was available. I even came in earlier and earlier. I attempted it three times and could not catch anyone. It was frustrating to say the least. I wish them well in their business venture. But I gave up on this place.

Gym is awesome & the owner is even better. The gym is always clean (huge plus for me). This is a homegrown local business whose owner truly cares about his members & his community. Stop through either location (there’s one in Converse right outside JB Randolph) & get that membership.

Started going to this gym when COVID was really bad. I liked that it wasn’t super crowded and I had 24 hour access as I often workout late in the evening. Has everything you need for a great workout, clean, and if you need it PT happy to help you in your fitness journey.

Management staff is highly unprofessional and consistently unavailable to address concerns/discrepancies. I attempted to cancel my membership back in November 2022 (I have the emails) and despite confirming they cancelled my membership I was still charged for December 2022 and January 2023. Eventually after unsuccessful attempts to reach anyone by phone, I went in person and spoke with a staff member who verified the email traffic from November and cancelled my membership on the spot. I’m still waiting to hear back from the owner about getting reimbursed but I’m not holding my breath. I get the impression that the 1604 location of Texas Muscle & Fitness LLC is a sinking ship and won’t be around much longer if it continues moving in the same direction.

I’ll change this review when I actually hear from someone that works here or somehow get lucky and see them working at the gym. I signed up online about 2-4 weeks ago but work had me away for a bit so I never was able to go after signing up. Now I’m back and I just can’t seem to ever meet anyone that actually works here. Can’t get ahold of or anything. Do I just start going? Don’t I need a door pass? Like how do I get out of this contract? Because it’s not like I need people working there but I do need someone in order to get the things I need. So either tell me how to cancel and no longer get charged or maybe let me know when or if anyone is working so I can can get at least a door pass and make sure I’m not doing the wrong thing.
