I have been trying to get an appointment for months. I was told I would be sent release forms because my records need to be reviewed before I can make an appointment. After calling 3 times and being told this all 3 times, I have yet to receive a single email from Texas oncology. I was recently referred by my doctor and they have updated their procedure— now I have to wait 24-48 hours to even speak to a “new patient scheduler” and they still didn’t call to tell me they will email me the release form that they then won’t email me— so now there are 2 forms of communication you are failing at. Do you care to see cancer patients? Are y’all rolling so deep in your profits you let perfectly good patients go elsewhere and in fact make your intake process that has failed me 3 times worse? I know y’all have my information. I know y’all received my referral. Do you realize I pay you for a service? I shouldn’t have to call more than once to make an appointment. Congratulations on being a part of the lowest quality healthcare I have ever received in my life. I pray that people that think this is acceptable are able to get out of Texas to see there are doctors and providers that do care and do their job.

My first appointment with Dr. V.went very well. She was very warm and friendly and very informative. I have an appreciation for physicians who have a good bedside manner!
Front desk staff are very nice. Helpful as well.
Scheduling and check out is efficient for the huge volume of patients they process every day.
There is been a hiccup with my insurance carrier for about a month now so my appointment today was for labs and I wasn’t able to get them as the referral had not come back yet. I believe the issue points more in the direction of the Medicare Aadvantage Plan Part C plan and not the hematology/ontology office.their appointments do seem to run behind at least 30 minutes, so budget your time accordingly. I’ll add more and update this once I get my labs done in a couple more weeks.

Great experience! The wait was about 20 minutes but honestly not bad! I loved Dr Megan Jones! She really listened to me and did a great job explaining the process! The front desk people were super kind as well!

This was my first time in the office and I did not enjoy the experience. Lets start off with wait time we waited over an hour to get into the back and then waited another 30min to see the doctors. JENNI at the desk to schedule our next appointment was short and dismissive and couldn't not take the time to schedule an upcoming appointment. She asked about orders and told us the Dr had not sent any over yet instead of asking how we needed to be helped. JENNI Just assumed she knew what we needed and then dismissed us and told us she would call us when the orders came in.so we just left. You guys should be embarrassed about the way you treat your clients.we pay for our services. I would give a 0 star rating but there isn't a way. The doctor we met with wasn't much better.

Make sure you advocate for your selves at this place and ask question or they will just la de da right over you and try giving you a quick easy fix.

I requested an appointment to see a hematologist (11/22) because my iron labs were consistent with hemochromatosis. I sent the office my labs. I received a call back saying they wouldn't see me and to just take a folic acid supplement. I wasn't given any other explanation and my questions were discounted. I found a hematologist who would see me and turns out I DO HAVE IT. Extremely disappointed that I wasn't taken seriously.

Patient scheduler, Christine, became upset and agitated with me for asking questions. I had to end the call without scheduling because I'm not okay with being snapped at and accused of saying things I didn't say. I'm also not okay with being told that my medical history is just my "perspective" or my "belief" rather than documented hard fact on multiple records by multiple providers. Generally I love Dr. Bala, her check-in staff, and the staff in the infusion center, but this exchange with Christine was wildly unacceptable and unprofessional.

Not sure why one of my bills was sent to collections, which was literally paid 7 months ago.

Overall the service provided was great, but paid bill being sent to debt collectors potentially damaging my credit is highly unacceptable.

Dr. Shaw and the oncology team are the premier providers of care for oncology patients. Dr. Shaw listens to the patient to comprehend before responding. I am in excellent hands. The patient is the total focus!

The staff is so amazing and sweet they took good care of me during a ruff spot with my blood disorder and got things back on track! Love them!
