No one answers, if you are able to wait 30+ minutes for someone to answer it takes forever to get a call back. Takes forever to get copies of orders, to get clarification, to get questions answered, takes forever to get anything done. Local facilities do not like working with this office, the complain about difficulty getting orders, calls, answers.

I didn't Wana be mean giving less than 2 stars. I was referred by my Primary Doctor to Texas Oncology, after calling several times I had to go in person for an
appointment. I left the paperwork my Dr primary Dr gave me. This lady at Texas Oncology told me (don't want to mention her name), they tòld me the Dr will check my tests and if it was necessary to be seen, they will call me. I'm still waiting for them to call me.
It's gonna be already almost a month.hopefully they will before something happens to me.

Hard to get a hold of. I'm still waiting. I was referred to Texas Oncology for a second opinion and was told to get in touch with them if I didn't hear back about an appointment after 2 weeks. After not hearing anything, I called a month later only to be transferred to an office that never answered their phone (I called several times) and I left a message every time. The original doctor's office that gave me the referral called to tell me that Texas Oncology had tried to get in touch with me 3 times and had closed the case because I didn't answer. I hadn't received any calls or voicemails from Texas Oncology and even double checked the number that was on the referral to verify that it was correct. The original doctor's office said they resent the referral and I tried to get in touch with Texas Oncology again, only to be transferred again to the office that never answers and left messages with my number on several occasions. Still haven't heard back, but have since found someone else for the second opinion.
Wouldn't recommend this center for their blatant lack of communication and professionalism (claiming that they had tried to get a hold of me when I have not received any calls even though the number on file is correct). If you need an oncologist, go somewhere else and you might have a better chance at seeing one.

I totally agree, Dr Gopalan he never performed the treatment on my beloved husband and he had no professional communication, he was in a hurry.

This place sucks. Abnormal lab results are not addressed. They do not have in person appointments available without a second referral. Why is my insurance paying them when I have to tell them to do their job? Be your own advocate because they'll let your health get worse. Texas Oncology is a nightmare. Actually, healthcare in El Paso is a nightmare.

If you are one of the unlucky ones to have cancer you are not only lucky but blessed to have the best oncologist, director as your doctor. I’m blessed to have Dr Inez Sanchez as my oncologist. When you walk in, it’s not depressing it’s sad to see so many with this disease but every single person on staff makes you feel like you are the only patient there. I’ve had nothing but the best care and attention. Thank Dr Sanchez, besos

If you want your family members to live and thrive- avoid Texas Oncology in El Paso!

If you can afford it, get out of El Paso! The other Texas Oncology locations are wonderful!

I am sharing this post, so no one has to go through what my family has gone through. DO NOT SEND ANY FAMILY MEMBERS HERE UNLESS THEY WANT TO DIE. From the front desk to the doctors, every employee that we have come in contact with is cold and emotionless. THEY ONLY REACH OUT WHEN THEY NEED YOUR MONEY. This place might as well be a meat factory.

Dr Gopalin killed my grandmother and I have been leaving messages at cooperate and sending emails until someone TAKES ACCOUNTABILITY. This place should be shut down and Dr Gopalin needs to get have his licensed removed before he kills more people.

I'm currently being treated here with radiation for my cancer. My doctor is Dr Gupta, she is a very kind and caring person, a true professional, exactly what you need when you're sick. The radiation team is awesome, highly professional, kind and you're treated with respect. I will forever be grateful for everything they're doing for me. God bless you all always. Thank you

If I could give this place a -00000 I would. The Business Office Patient Financial Svcs want you to pay upfront to receive your radiation treatment services. According to my insurance it is against the law to bill for services not rendered. They did not accept my copay and denied me medical care. Elisa and her boss stated that it is their policy to bill up front while I had my insurance representative on the phone and she also told them that they cannot deny me treatment if I have my copay. The representative told them that what they are doing is illegal. They told the representative that it is their billing process policy. Elisa smirked and laughed in my face when I told her that I did not have the amt that she wanted in order for me to receive treatment. GREED AT IT FINEST! Texas Oncology, please don't comment to respond to an email. Nothing will get addressed or resolved.
This place needs a overhaul, insensitive and rude staff.

My husband was diagnosed with possible leukemia. On June 7,2023, they gave him a blood test to determine his condition. On June 9, we received the results via the Internet. However, we don't know how to interpret the figures. I've called just about every day to schedule an appointment. All I get is "We'll call you for an appointment. Toward the end of June, we still haven't received an appointment.

0 Stars. Cattle not patients. My vet takes better care of me than this place. Slow as a snail here also, have at least 4 hours of free time. My nurse couldn't even speak english properly or type info on the keyboard properly. Zero faith in this facility. They are competent in talking money not medical treatment.

Update: Texas Oncology will do everything within their power to sabotage opinions from specialty clinics. Texas Oncology conveniently misplaces records and files from specialty clinics. Moreover, Texas Oncology doctors ignore treatment recommendations (especially as it pertains to chemotherapy) from specialty clinics. Many specialty hospitals offer peer-to-peer consultations, but Texas Oncology doctors refuse to speak with specialty physicians. It's clear to me that Texas Oncology isn't concerned about doing what is best for the patients.

At some point Texas Oncology needs to place a pause on accepting new patients. Doctors, nurses and staff are overwhelmed, and it shows. Doctors are stretched thin, consequently overlooking and missing information that is pivotal to a cancer patient's survival. With the alarmingly high doctor to patient ratio, doctors don't have the time to carefully review a patient's history so that prudent decisions are made for the patient's short-term and long-term care. New patients can be directed to UMC, Texas Tech and WBAMC which have the staff and resources to attend to a large population of cancer patients. When Dr. Reese founded Texas Oncology; the current mediocre standing of Texas Oncology is not what he envisioned for cancer patients.

At Texas Oncology you are a number, not a patient. My doctor is always in a rush skimming through treatment, bloodwork and tests. The infusion clinic is operated by nurses who couldn't care less about the pain and suffering we cancer patients endure. They have no genuine concern for patients. It's just a paycheck for them. What good did it do for Texas Oncology to invest $36 million dollars in renovations if the people working there are incompetent and uncaring. I may pass away from cancer, but I refuse to be under the care of people who don't give a single iota about providing quality care to patients.

You all should be ashamed at the way you lie to and treat your patients. Making folks wait HOURS for their appointment times is not acceptable. And the answer you give is that Dr. Gopalan like to spend time with his patients is an outright lie. In the many times I’ve seen him, our time together never exceeds 6 minutes. I know this because I’ve timed it and pointed it out. Furthermore you have doctors that do not follow National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines for treatment. I should have scans every 3-6 months yet it’s been 9 since you ordered one. This is where patients go to die. If you want treatment, find another practice.

UPDATE: I spoke to an office administrator last week about my concerns. She seemed surprised by my experiences and asked me to give her until Monday to research and get back to me. It’s Tuesday and still no follow up…

Unprofessional staff, definitely would not recommend.

Seek treatment elsewhere they don't just charge your insurance, and give unnecessary treatment plans.
