Dr. Shami and staff were wonderful and put me at ease my first appointment! Saw him Wednesday, had surgery on Friday. Dr. Shami even met me Saturday morning for my 24 hr follow up! The wait is long, but we'll worth it to me! Thank you for everything Dr. Shami!

Texas Retina Associates came highly recommended from my eye specialist in Roswell. After receiving all of my eye exams from the extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff and meeting Dr. Christopher Fuller, I knew that I had made a very wise decision to come to this office.
Dr. Fuller was very informative and knowledgeable about my eye condition which will require surgery. He answered all of my questions in a manner that I could understand and reassured me that he could repair my eye to where my vision would be restored.

Highly recommend! Everyone was courteous and friendly. Dr. Fuller was excellent! He explained everything to me so it was easy to understand and did not rush through the visit. I called ahead of time to let them know I would be 5 mins late, the receptionist was very friendly, with a response of "it's okay, see you when you get here. " Once I was there I checked in filled the necessary info, waited in the lobby. The specialist Dr. Fuller was very nice and explained to me, in a way I could understand what he'd found (which was good news). Everyone was courteous and friendly. The wait period and being seen in total was about an hour. So yes I would recommend this place to other people.

I WAS VERY PLEASED AND SATISFIED WITH THE STAFF AND THE DOCTOR. THE DOCTOR ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS I ASKED, NOW THAT IS SOMETHING OTHER PLACES DON'T DO. OVERALL I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THISTHE GREAT PLACE.

This office doesn't take reviews very well. I was a patient of Michel Shani and because I spoke my mind about their patients waiting all day at the waiting room even with a 8am appointment and not getting seen until almost closing time, He refused to treat me anymore. Even after he gave me an appointment he waited until I drove there all the way from New Mexico and refused me treatment when if he had some kind of professionalism refused he could have send me a message or even called but instead he waited until I drove all the way to the Texas office to refuse me treatment. He takes more patients than he can handle and you might as well pack breakfast, lunch and maybe even dinner since you're there all day even with an appointment for 8am that needs help in the scheduleing department and is money hungry!

My son had a terrible eye accident and I was referred to this office! I can’t be more grateful and blessed to have had Dr. Shami come to our rescue! The most professional, caring, and knowledgeable in his profession hands down! I would wait 5 hours if needed, that’s how amazing he is! Thank You Dr Shami and team!

I saw Dr. Shami to get further assessment of an eye condition and possible explanation (s) for recent minor diminishment of visual acuity. He throughly examined both my eyes, with particular attention to the retinas. He discussed in some detail various defects present and their possible contribution to my loss of visual acuity. He included reference to medical records from another eye specialist seen recently and to his own examination done about five years ago to help clear me for cataract surgery by another specialist. We discussed possible interventions that might be available if the problem gets worse. I like that he didn’t limit the discussion just to my retinas but also discussed my prior cataract surgery and it’s possible effect on acuity. He was very responsive to my questions and his answers were very easy to understand.

Only downside to the visit was that it was almost three hours before I was done. It was explained to me that Dr. Shami had two emergency laser surgeries he had to perform while I was there. That type of thing can’t be scheduled until the patient is on hand. This is something you can run in to with any physician that sees a certain amount of emergency situations and I don’t think that can be held against him. All the staff were very professional and friendly. I recommend Texas Retina Associates and particularly Dr. Shami.

Very good experience considering my issues. Doctor i saw was one of the best caregivers i have been to. Very considerate of patients who travel to appointments. I would recommend Texas Retina Associates to anyone who has conditions with their eyes.

Wonderful staff was at my appointment a few minutes early and the exam process was started 10 minutes early. Wonderful staff and Dr.

Not friendly they do not value your time if you have a appointment be ready to stay at least 4 hours not a good place to go

The nurses and doctor were excellent. They explained what they were doing for my nervous 13 year old. But plan on waiting a long time we to be seen. My appt was at 10: 45. I was 7 minutes late, but they didn't even call us back for 40 minutes. The front desk isn't very warm and fuzzy either. Great medical care tho, which is what I care most about.

I have been sitting in the lobby for over an hr Gentleman next to me has been here over two hrs I don’t understand how the older folk can wait this long Apparently the staff doesn’t care
