Going on 6 weeks now waiting for 4 roller shades. I'd steer clear of these people - lots of inconsistency in the explanations given for the delay, and I suspect they simply act as a middleman ordering from some company in China. If you want shutters, contact Texas Handcrafted Shutters in Katy. If you want blinds/shades/etc. I wish I had another recommendation. Go elsewhere.

Update: After a response from the owner, I've got a bit more to add. Firstly, I don't care that you personally feel the review is fair as you are hardly an unbiased party, and I don't feel the lack of good-faith communication is fair. So we'll agree to disagree on if your one star review is deserved. As the customer, I feel it is.

Now for the facts. All of this is substantiated via text message if you'd like the proof. The rep initially quoted 3-5 weeks for the product. Not once have we ever received a status update without first reaching out. We were told last week by the rep (at our prompting may I add) that the product would arrive by today, the date of this review. As it turns out, that information was false - and we just heard that apparently the shipping label was created today. Again, not once were we ever informed of a potential shipping delay without first reaching out. As for the out of stock issue, we were told repeatedly that there would be no status update until a tracking number was created. I'm not sure why you'd need a tracking number to tell us that a delay may occur because of an issue with supply. None of the interaction we've had with your company exudes competence. From mistaking "shipping date" and "delivery date" to initially billing us $50 instead of 50% to literally never once reaching out to inform us of potential delays with our order.

From one business owner to another - be upfront and proactive with your customers. It tends to create better outcomes.

I was remodeling my home; painting and new flooring so to make my windows also go with the upgraded look I decided on shutters. OMG I am so happy I did; these are amazing. I have the wide ones and had them painted to match my kitchen cabinets - BEAUTIFUL. Also the service is top notch; they come out and help you decide on what is best for your windows; measure and in a few weeks shutters are ready for install. I can’t say enough about Texas Shutter Company - you cannot go wrong with them. Shutters were the final touch that set off the beautiful remake of my home.
