Texas Thrift Store reviews
36Very large indoor area to shop all kinds of things in the air paintings clothing shoes hats accessories for young children enjoy shopping there on Veterans Day Wednesdays
They allow kids to run all over the store and run into customers! After 10 minutes I just left the store….
The biggest Texas thrift store I've ever been to. Very clean and organized, staff was polite as well.
Compared to other thrift stores Texas Thrift is by far the best. The prices may be a bit higher on some things but are still very reasonable considering the work they put in to separate and categorize everything to make shopping simpler. Im in and out in 30 minutes and always satisfied. Bought an awesome steam mop with attachments for less than $30. Love it!
The company itself deserves a 0 star! They have their workers out there in 100+ degree heat and by what I’ve seen and asked never do they provide water or any way of keeping cool. These people obviously need their jobs and no A/C or any care is ever given to them. At some of the donation stations there isn’t even a shade to stand under. It’s horrible working conditions. This company makes a lot of money but obviously CEOs are getting paid really well and the people at the bottom get scraps. Don’t be fooled by them, your donations don’t go to what they say they do. I was one that used to donate here but stopped when I started doing research on this company. -just my 2 cents.
After multiple dealings with the rude older man with the mustache that receives donations I’ll be finding a different location to donate items to in the future even if I have to drive further from home. The smart aleck comments he makes are annoying an unnecessary.
Was so let down with my service today. Not only did I get attitude when a item was miss priced, to top that off I wasn't allowed to purchase it at all. Save your time
Not to happy with how they are selling their clothes. For instance, all dressing rooms are closed. Also there is a no return and no refund policy. So, you are stuck with what you buy.
They are constantly cleaning, the bathrooms are old but definately clean. I had trouble finding tops in my size, but I am big. There are lots of nice clothes for small women. I found some scrub pants, which is what I was looking for.
Great for a thrift store. Send like usually good selection, although also messy, but you are employees trying their best to pick up after the customers.
Barbar was very rude. She refused to check the Harley Quinn costume to make sure everything was in it, but of course if I do it I'm stealing and I shouldn't open it. There were two lines open, the lines were not long and 40 minutes until closing, so she was completely "overwhelmed" to help. If it wasn't for the awful customer service experience I would not have bought it.
Thrift store prices every are becoming outrageous including here. They pay their employees pennies and you can tell by the attitudes they have towards their customers, who are treated more like criminals. I still shop at thrift stores, but not the way I used to. I have to say no to many things simply because they are way overpriced. Too many times I've found items priced HIGHER than what it retails for! This is a regular occurrence!
I really like this thrift store because it has a huge selection of everything and I always find some good deals. The workers are generally nice and there is always some sort of sale going on so you never have to pay full price. My last visit I found Michael Kors pumps that were in really good condition.
My wife found what she was looking for I was looking for some jeans but there was not a very good selection in anything that was to my liking
Wide variety of items. Had everything! Pretty clean and organized. I'm a teacher and there is a lot of stuff to use in the classroom.
I like shopping there but they are putting all the things that we all donated up so high I can't even buy my own stuff back. And now the won't let you buy any of their new mdse at their 50 percent off sale.
Worthwhile place to donate your unwanted A to ZZzzs. For the bargain hunter you'll find plenty of them. Special extra discount days for Military and Seniors, too. If you're looking for That one special item you can't seem to find, This is the place to go to, too. From that powertool charger, bags of toys furniture of a different kind that Ikea don't won't ever stock. Cotton fields full of clothes rail after rail after another rail, too.
Went there for the heck of it and came out with some real cute accessories such as belts, hand bags. The husband found some some good work shirts and jeans. Few kitchen items. Chris one of the employees there was very helpful and kind with us, the female employees were rude, had bitter attitudes, they could use some manners from the young gentleman Chris.
Always a good visit here. Sometimes for grown ups sometimes for the kids. Always able to find something.
Huge store. Clothing too jam packed. On 99.cent tag day maybe 10% tagged specific color.
Not nearly enough check out employee, 2 out of 5 available makes for a long co out! Too much talking on intercom aggravating shopping their! Sincerely. D. P.
