Texas Trust Credit Union reviews
2The staff is friendly, and the lobby is clean, one drive up ATM and 2 drive up tellers.
****Update to my previous review. A sales manager reached out and assured me that Tiffany did nothing wrong it was apparently an error in the system. The charged was reversed with no problem and he was very nice and pleasant to speak with. I really appreciate him taking the time to call me to clarify what happened. ****
I originally gave a 5 star review for the excellent customer service I received from an employee in this branch however, I changed my review rating due to the loan officer Tiffany B. She was nice and friendly but now I see that is because she is very deceptive. I got a personal loan through Texas Trust and I asked Tiffany over the phone if the extra insurance benefit she mentioned had a cost and she stated “no it’s included in the monthly price that I gave you” I agreed to the loan terms. Once I received my paper work I notice that there was in fact a dollar amount attached to that insurance benefit it was over $1,000. I emailed Tiffany letting her know that I didn’t want the insurance because it costs. And again she states that it was included in the monthly cost that I said was okay. Which was correct, but she was using play on words. Yes the monthly cost was fine however I specifically asked her if the insurance had a cost. I had to send several emails to get her to remove the insurance and that should not have been that hard. I finally got the paper work showing that I declined the insurance and the monthly payment dropped about $30. I thought I was done. But NO! A few weeks later I see a charge on my loan account for the same insurance I told Tiffany that I didn’t want multiple times! This is very frustrating. I had to call to get the charge removed. I’m assuming Tiffany gets commission on selling this insurance and it didn’t matter that I didn’t want it she clearly did what she wanted to do. I have lost all confidence I had in Texas Trust do to this underhanded employee.
