I highly recommend Texas Wedding Ministers! Our wedding was in the Dallas Fort Worth area which they service. Michael Bromberg officiated our wedding and we couldn’t be any happier! We wanted a short + sweet ceremony and it was everything we wanted! He was very professional & timely on our special day!

We hired most of vendors through the knot, including Texas Wedding Ministers (TWMs). Based on their reviews. Most importantly, we chose TWMs based on the fact that they officiated bilingual weddings. In particular, we were excited to find an officiant (Min. N. Harris) who originally from Mexico and we felt that we had things in common with her. Also, we chose them because their website reassures you that they will make your wedding experience "stress free". Unfortunately, working with them was a bumpy ride. After signing the contract with them and paying, Min Harris didn't reach out to us for about a month. We reached back to TWMs, and she quickly explained had tried to reach out to us ONCE, but dialed the wrong number and did not try again. Then, she no showed to our first meeting since she overslept. She then explained that she had been sick but was very apologetic and reassured us that everything was going to be OK for our wedding so we decided to give her another chance. About 2 weeks before our wedding, she scheduled a "final details" meeting to be done a week prior to our wedding, but 5 days before that meeting we just received a notification that the invite had been canceled. She did not reach out to us personally, which she had been doing in days prior. When we reached out to her she mentioned that she was leaving TWMs and would not be officiating our wedding. I asked if she could send the notes that she took from our first meeting to the next officiant, but she mentioned that she had not prepared anything in the previous meeting. This was incredibly stressful for us. Rev. Esparza found us another officiant, Min. Aguillon, about 9 days before wedding. She was nice and on time on the day of the wedding, however it seemed like this was one of her first weddings to officiate. She was very nervous, didn't stand in the middle of the arch, and filled in our marriage license wrong the first time (day/month and not month/day). Correct filling of the license would have been noticed if it had been read carefully. On the spot, that was also stressful for us since we didn't know if it was going to be accepted. She corrected it, and ultimately the license was accepted by the count clerk, but we were planning on framing it and now it is not the neatest to be portrayed.
To conclude, while everything worked out and our second officiant was nice, this was not the best experience for us. We feel like for the cost we could have just had a friend ordained and had a more a smooth and process and more personalized wedding.

DO NOT recommend. The Officiants are nice, but the front office/company is unprofessional and lacks proper communication with customers and their own employees. The good reviews and comfort of having a backup Officiant if anything were to happen day of drew us to booking with Texas Wedding Ministers (TWM). 2 weeks before our wedding day our officiant checked in with us, made sure we were good to go, and was looking forward to our wedding. The day before our wedding our original Officiant had a family emergency, we were contacted by the front office saying everything was okay, our script developed with our original Officiant was in the portal, and our new Officiant would be contacting us. We finally got in contact with our new Officiant at 10 pm and reviewed the script, which was NOT the script chosen and agreed upon with our OG Officiant. At midnight we had to call the new Officiant to clear up confusion and send the original script to our new Officiant. The new Officiant arrived early to ensure everything would go smoothly, which was appreciated, and needed as there was more confusion around the script and vows. After the ceremony our new officiant struggled to fill out our marriage license and asked us (newly weds, never married before) how to fill it out! Luckily our photographer was there to help out and ensure the parts needing filled out by him were completed. After the ceremony we contacted the office informing them of the issues we had with the script and marriage license. We were told we didn't sumbit our script beforehand hand and that we were contacted multiple times about it (we never received any emails indicating we needed to do something/sumbit/agree on a script etc.) The only communication prior to the day before the ceremony with TWM was a text message about signing the contract, through the initial zoom call/script selection and redlines with our original officiant a month before the wedding, and the 2 week email check in with no indication of us needing to do anything else except show up. We provided the front office with documented emails between us and our original Officiant and then they blamed their own employee for sending us a script he shouldn't have (that we were lucky to have the script we got) and that our original Officiant was new and will be talked to about what he did, but it was still somehow OUR fault for their inter-company lack of communication. We paid around $400 for us to essentially organize everything 16 hrs before our ceremony. This company is only in it for the money and not for a smooth and stress free ceremony. Save yourself the lack of sleep and stress before your wedding. Now going back and reading the 1 star reviews this we are not the only case with Texas Wedding Ministers lack of communication and their employees not knowing how to fill out marriage licenses.

Mark Sastre was great! He was so polite and very professional. He reached out to us to set up a Zoom call to get to know us and explained the whole process. We highly recommend Mark to be your officiant!

Although I hired Everlasting Elopements for my wedding, I was forced to pay for officiant services from Texas Wedding Ministers not rendered so I'm writing this review. The Good: The day-of wedding coordinator Alyssa and the photographer Danielle were outstanding and absolutely lovely to work with. They truly went above and beyond to make everything run as smoothly as possible, especially after the chaotic start to our wedding. The cake and flowers were amazing and beautiful as well.

The Bad: Kari, the boss of this operation, was the complete opposite of pleasant to work with. Her customer service is awful, almost every email exchange from her was condescending, even when I tried to voice my concerns about paying for services not needed or requested, nor ultimately rendered. Who likes to pay for services they did not request nor receive?

The Ugly: The day of the wedding, our family members arrived at the venue and learned that according to the venue, there was no record of the wedding nor was paperwork properly filed by Everlasting Elopements. Our family members had to help with the setup because the venue had no idea about the wedding we booked and paid for months in advance. Because the venue was not prepared for us, we were not able to use the bridal or groom suites to dress into our wedding attire (although this was a perk for this particular venue and Kari also previously assured me that we would be able to use the suites). This was all extremely distressing to say the least. We paid $1,000 for the venue, was any of that actually given to the venue or kept by Everlasting Elopements, we're not sure. Additionally, in my email exchanges with Kari I repeatedly told her that we would be providing our own officiant as the website promotes that "all packages can be customized to a couple’s exact needs so they are only paying for the services they truly need, " which is very misleading and not a true statement at all since we were forced to pay for an officiant we did not request or utilize. This was far from "stress free planning" - also a direct quote from their website. It was also very shady that we had to pay before even viewing the contract. Kari then basically strongarmed us into signing a contract we did not completely agree with as we did not want to have to pay for officiant services when we had our own officiant and we actually handled the ceremony and paperwork entirely ourselves. The contract was competely tailored to her liking, not ours. I was naive and am guilty of being loyal to a fault since this was the first wedding planning service I reached out to and felt forced into entering into this contract. The reason they don't want to give up having couples pay for officiant services is because this is a husband-wife business in which the husband is a minister and the wife is a wedding planner so they are only looking out for themselves and not properly serving their clients. I would very strongly advise to proceed with caution before working with this woman. It is unfortunate that she has such a great staff working under her thumb. Make sure that "you’re only paying for services you need (and nothing you don’t)! " as that is what they claim to offer but do not actually honor.

Going with Texas Wedding Ministers was one of the best decisions we could have made. We selected officiant Amanda Collinsworth and she wrote a beautiful custom ceremony for us. We really couldn't have asked for a better person to preform our ceremony!

Rev. Laura Sutherland was a true professional throughout the entire process. She was accessible, responsive, and a pleasure to meet. She brought such good energy to our wedding day and made a great impression on our guests! She was the best!

Make sure you do thorough research when considering using this company. We contacted this company looking for an officiant to moderate our ceremony. Our early research showed they had descent reviews so we decided to contact them. After hiring them, signed their contract and paid a $50dlls deposit, never heard from them despite reaching out to them several times. After 4 months of no response, we decided cancel their service. We received an email from Kari Esparza (owner) stating we will be responsible for paying an additional cancellation fee. We decided to contact her by phone to explain our reasoning. We found her to be very unprofessional and threatening. They not only kept our deposit but also charged our cc another $50 for cancellation.

Minister Joseph co-officiated our wedding this past November, and I am so happy that we chose him! Joseph was extremely friendly and personable, and reached out several times before the wedding to let us know that he was here for us. He worked great with our rabbi and helped us create a wonderful interfaith ceremony. We were also “blessed” with rain during the time our outdoor ceremony was supposed to take place. Joseph checked on both me and the groom multiple times, and provided us with comfort and meaningful advice that allowed me to stay calm in a very stressful moment. He is genuinely a great human, and gives off a warm and caring energy. Thank you so much Joseph for being a part of our wedding and making it so special!
Love,
Janelle & Chris

We had a simple civil ceremony in Wimberly, just the two of us. Reverend Leigh made the minor changes we had asked her to make in the reading and officiated the ceremony with professionalism and grace.

Texas Wedding Ministers stepped in 30 DAYS before our wedding! Our other officiant basically backed out and we found Texas Wedding ministers. We were able to choose our own officiant and we chose David Davila. He delivered a beautiful heartfelt catholic ceremony that was felt around all of our guests. Our guests actually came up and complimented how beautiful David wrote our ceremony! We are eternally grateful!

Father Richard made our wedding very special.

Let’s start by saying that communication and planning with Father Richard are excellent. He regularly follows up with you to plan ahead all the ceremony details and logistics. His preparedness makes you feel at ease; you can feel everything is going to be alright.

And in regards to the ceremony, he makes an outstanding job making it traditional, entertaining, and we’d say immersive.

For us, a latino couple, the fact that Father Richard spoke perfect Spanish and had good knowledge of our culture, was a great plus. Specially because he was able to make all the guests part of the ceremony.

We’re very grateful to Father Richard and feel blessed that he was part of our wedding.

Complete upset with this ministry and officiant Richard Almeida. The lack of professionalism and lack of communication is very overwhelming. Richard Almeida was no where to be found on my day of and he completely ghosted both his boss and myself. Gave an excuse that he was under the weather since the day prior… okay? Let us know ahead of time or communicate that with us so we can have someone else step in. The ministry themselves are shady because they don’t process a FULL refund so they still make money and honestly they couldn’t care less. They shorted my refund about $50.

Officiant David Davila was the one who officiated my now husband and I, and we loved every single moment of it! The communication was great, his hard dedication to helping you make sure everything comes out perfect is unbeatable! Words cannot describe how much we truly appreciate him! Hopefully he’s still around 25 years from now to re-do our vows bc that’s how amazing it was!
Very easy to talk with and get along, it almost felt like he was a long lost tio!
David Davila is the best!

I just want to say our elopement was fantastic! Our photographer (Leah Thompson) made us feel comfortable with while take pics. She directed us how to take great pics and just made everything fun! Our minister (Joesph Devlin) was amazing. He was on-time and reached out to coordinate what to wear with me about a week or two before the wedding. He made us feel comfortable and help us out on our special day! I thank both of them for making our day feel truly special!
