TGF Hair Salon / Cost Cutters, Houston TX

Extremely disappointed with the haircut I got at Eldridge Pkwy location. I had been to this place previously when it was TGF. So was hoping similar we experience. However I am shocked that in spite of showing picture of haircut I wanted, my hairs are so messed up at this point. They are chopped way shorter than I wanted and the layers seems uneven throughout. This is probably the worst haircut ever!

Leticia is the most professional hair stylist, she has been in the business for a long time besides cutting and caring for hair, she knows whats best for your scalp and hair, she is very caring and makes you feel like family

I scheduled services online for hair color. Set up time and location. Made it to the scheduled time in Cost Cutters and they rejected doing services because they had just one specialist. Guys need to reconsider online scheduling. But lady who rejected me.rejected me nice.

Recently I went to Cost Cutters for my usual hair needs. An asian Lady named Lillian did awesome job on my hair color, cut and style. She is very talented and I plan to visit her when I need my hair done again. She is the best.

I went in to get a pixie cut. All stylist refused to cut my hair. They said they do not cut African American hair

Mary has done an amazing job every time I need haircut she’s very professional and sweet I keep coming back thanks to her.

Ghada from Cost Cutters is Fabulous! I started with Ghada 3yrs ago when the salon was TGF.
Not only does she have a wonderful warm welcoming personality but Ghada is a great hairstylist! I always get compliments from women and men on my hair color, highlights, and hair cut!
I highly recommend making a trip to Cost Cutters and ask for Ghada!

Two workers, no customers and they didn’t want to cut my hair. If you are a stylist you should learn all types of hair textures. I felt judged for not having straight hair. Happy Mother’s DayTo me for trying to look beautiful.

My first time at this location. My experience was wonderful. Enjoyed it immensely. I also had the privilege to have Ghada cut my hair. It was a great experience. Ghada was courageous, cheerful and gregarious. See you soon!

I booked an apartment with Ghada and she was nothing but AMAZING! Throw to perfection. I had a head FULL of natural hair & when I left I hat the exact colors I wanted. She is AWESOME! If you want to do your hair cut or dye I would recommend her

Horrible service. I was rushed with my haircut for the next customer. The hair stylist was not helpful with the haircut.

I walked in today to see about prices and how long the wait was. Nobody spoke a single word to me for several minutes, so I just stood there. When I was finally acknowledged, I asked my question and received an answer. Nothing about this location is inviting and I’ve never seen women who had worse hair styles themselves! Don’t bother. If they can’t make themselves presentable, you won’t look good either.

Big mistake not reading the reviews (which I usually do) before I came to this hair salon! Very very disappointed! Don't waiste your time or money

Most worst service! I went to curl up my hair and it did not hold up even for three hours. Poor service!

Very unprofessional staff, got my hair done last week, for very simple trimming and seems like she had never cut a hair before!

Terrible place to get your haircut! My dad got his hair cut here and they absolutely butchered it! I'm not even exaggerating.it looked like a kid did it. The last had red hair and her name was Judy. I told him to go get his money back. It's just plain horrible looking. Im gonna try to post pics but do not waste your time going here.

You get what you pay for.

First time I had to go home and cut my own hair to fix it. She sounded like she knew what she was doing and I agreed to what she said, but when it came to cutting, it was HORRIBLE. Bad technique, there was no texture on the hair, and when I styled it, the hair on top was shorter than the sides? !? ! HOW?

The lady was bad, just plain bad. They don't even speak english.

Horrible experience. Steer clear! The Palestinian hair dresser who works here nicked both me and my 3 year old sons skin at multiple spots. To be fair, the other hair dressers here seemed skilled and professional. I will however avoid this salon at all cost.

Mexican lady there did a miserable job - i asked for a fade she buzzed my head
its taking a month to grow back up all fuzzy

They do a great job at a very reasonable price. The service from this location is fantastic. They always bend over backward to make me happy. Many great experiences.
