Thai Box (Allen, TX)

I’m sad about this place now! I used to go to the one in Addison weekly and it was soooooo great! I missed them so much I drove all the way to Allen to get it and it’s not good like the Addison location was. It was so FLAVORFUL in Addison! I definitely can’t be driving that far for a downgrade. Sorry guys!

This used to be our favorite "Asian" food spot to eat at, we would usually either pick it up or have it delivered through UBER or something. Recently they have been skimping heavily on the portions of their chicken soup, including the actual chicken breast, and noodles. The chicken soup is over $10 a bowl, and you end up getting maybe $. 75 worth of soup, $. 75 worth of chicken, and $1.25 worth of noodles. Terrible price per unit. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM HERE!

I have only tried sushi here, and it was Walmart quality at premium pricing. Bathroom was gross. Employees were nice but not particularly helpful. Empty restaurant during prime time in a very busy area. Drink machine was out of order.

Disappointed. I don’t typically don’t write reviews however disappointed with the expensive sushi roll. As you will see in the photo, the sushi was literally cut paper thin.

We stopped in for lunch. The restaurant is clean (bathrooms too), service was friendly and very helpful. My husband had spice level 5 and didn’t feel it was too hot, but the flavor was great. Fried dumplings- I could have rated a dozen. And Mango bubble tea was the perfect suggestion for a nice day. They have a kids menu, too. We will be back.

I ordered chicken Singapore noodles and spice level 3 out of 5. What I got was tasteless/no seasonings and the chicken over cooked and dry. There were maybe 3 slices of jalapeno to give it a little taste but that was all. I asked for hot mustard and soy to make it better. It is very clean and has a nice vibe though. Still not going back.

I accidentally ordered online from the Allen location and I asked for a refund. I was denied a refund when they could have easily given me one. I’ve ordered from the Addison location so many times supporting this business.

I agree with the others here.the Allen location has horrible service and it was the worst Thai food I have ever had. No flavor, did not get what we wanted, dry food.and $43 dollars for a bad experience and bad food. $43 for what we got - we felt robbed. Never again.

We had chicken fried rice, beef pad see ew and Thai tea. We loved the food. Lots of fresh chicken, beef and veggies. The owner was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Reasonable price too. I will go back there for sure! Also the best thai tea in town!

California Roll: excellent taste, fresh ingredients, perfect sesame seed aftertaste

Chicken Lo Mein: tasty, not oily, perfect mix of noodles, vegetables, and chicken. Spice Level 1 occasional hint of spice, yet not bland when no spice

Yellow Curry w/chicken: potatoes were amazing consistency, balanced well with rice, spice level 2 let you know the spice was there but not overwhelming

All portions were more than enough

Thai Tea and Boba Tea: great tasting and refreshing

I have been a regular but lately their customer service is horrible. My husband went to order in person and the lady got his food wrong. He called and the lady was very rude on the phone. This time I used this clove app for the first time to order. When I got there I looked at the food and realized there was an error. The lady took the food back but refused to give a refund or replacement. They even charged me more for items but it was not present in the food. She told me they have no manager, is not there fault the app got the order wrong. What happened to good customer service smh.

Great Thai place that travels well for delivery. Honestly some of the most delicious egg rolls I've ever had.

This is one of my go to's. The glass noodles specifically, are incredible. Highly recommend.

I came craving Thai food and Boba, and I found my new go to Thai food fast casual place! The food was amazing and the staff is super friendly. I am certainly coming back, possibly once a week at least!

I placed my order through Google, and when I arrived to pick it up it had not gone through on their online order system. They were incredibly apologetic, immediately began working on my order, and offered me one of their specialty drinks on the house as I waited.

The sushi is top-notch quality—very aesthetically pleasing and delicious. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Thai Box has a friendly environment and the food is amazing if I could rate this restaurant higher I would! The restaurant staff is amazing and talkative not to mention the aesthetic of the restaurant is cute and very welcoming ️️

Been eating here for about two years now and every single time, the employees are friendly, the food is great, and the service is fast! This local small restaurant deserves our support! Love this place ️
