Thai Spice Express, Houston TX

Tasty food. Cut back majorly on protein and supplemented with vegetables and rice. Barely any seafood in the seafood medley. As well as limited chicken/beef in the currys. Normally fried rice is very good, this time it was super mushy and clumpy

Its been around forever and with good reason. The food is always good to great here. You'll rarely ever get a bad dish. They continue to change the decor up which keeps it fresh and new. People who work there have been there for a very long time so the service is efficient and you get your food out fast. The 5.50 lunch special is great as well since its a very good bargain for what you get. The Iunch special selection is the greatest but its fresh and tasty. Their packaged mango and sweet sticky rice is my favorite amongst all Thai restaurants in the area.

We got the spicy fried catfish, it was definitely frozen nuggets that barely has any white meat mostly skin & excessive batter that’s way over-fried. Feels like they sold this restaurant to new owners. Does not taste like years ago.

Thai Spice Express is a hidden gem. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was super friendly, the portions are big and the price is very affordable. The food tasted great and was very fresh. I will definitely be coming back!

It has been a while since I'm here. Drove straight from the airport to here for lunch special to go. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in town. If anyone is looking for some delicious and authentic Thai food, this is the place.

The food is delicious, fast service and quiet environment to enjoy your food and conversations.

I been here many time, all of them foods very good, delicious feels so good, I love to take my girl come here, so happy and car parking easy for me.

The food taste that okay, a little on the salty side. Did not look anything like what was on the menu.
The seafood tomyum soup was sad. It only has shrimp in it and the shrimp was definitely not fresh. I would not recommend that soup.
The sticky rice was fresh either. It was more like a rubber ball.

Been going here since middle school with my mom. We still go to meet up and eat here. I love the #60 fish balls with the sauce on the side.

This is the best Thai restaurant I've been too. The orange chicken was fresh and the Lemongrass Shrimp salad was just the right amount of spice!

Unfortunately we were disappointed on the quality of food. The ingredients/dish did not taste fresh. This is not an authentic Thai place.

The service was good. The cashier and waiter were friendly. The place was clean. Overall friendly environment.

Let me start by saying shame, for taking a to go order and trusting a place like this…
This was second time in the past month to order from this place. And obviously they believe in selling the customer what they want to sale instead what the customers actually order. Not the mention the portion size is small for the price.

This is mild/ no spice!

I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was 15 and we would go almost every weekend when we lived close by but now I’m 22 and I live an hour away, for my birthday this year we went and they still have the best waiters and waitresses I love them all, food is absolutely amazing every time I go (:

It's okay, nothing wrong with the food but I've had better at most Thai restaurants. This one is conveniently located to us so we occasionally go. I think it's a little pricey for what you get.

Orange chicken was dry. Not enough of the sauce given. I tried to resolve it with the worker but he wouldn’t listen he was just acting defensive. The other locations always do it right.

Our last experience was not very good. Food was not enjoyable, way too many jalapenos. I would like to enjoy a flavor other than pure jalapeno in my dish. I told the waiter it was impossible to eat he didn't offer to remedy the situation. In the past they gave the option to choose the spice level when we ordered this dish. We will not return.
