The '68, San Antonio TX

So I’ve officially been living here for a month now and have to say it’s been a good experience. Management and staff have been great, really fast when something needs to get addressed. As for the apartments it’s self, it’s well maintained and clean. They have someone come by and clean the hallways constantly. It does have that hotel feel to it walking the hallways, it’s so quiet even on the weekends. My apartment faces the playground at Hemisfair park, it can get loud at times but understandable, it’s the good noise. So much stuff to do here and it’s not even summer. Can’t imagine how it would be once Civic park is done with construction.

Had a great tour of this complex and the community manager was so friendly and accommodating.

Living here has been a very pleasant experience. I have joy waking up in such a beautiful part of the city. My favorite thing about living here so far has been how fast maintenance is in and out resolving your problem very quickly. Also the cleanliness through the entire property is flawless! Also if you have dogs they will love our new civic park lot of roam for them to explore!

Very well maintained apartment, convenient location to downtown, and a very welcoming community! Bianca has been able to help anything promptly for me. I enjoy playing basketball and grilling on the rooftop of the parking garage and enjoy a view of the Tower of the America’s building. The cleaning lady does an amazing job mopping weekly and it smells amazing! Each floor has unique, local artwork in the lobby area. My only minor inconvenience would probably be guest parking, but aside from that, this place is great! My make or break between here and another place downtown was their reviews on management.

We have lived at The 68 with our 2 dogs for 2 1/2 years now and we love it. No complaints. Office staff and maintenance are great. We just signed for another year.

Living at The '68 has been an experience of a lifetime. The Business Manager, Bianca Fuqua, and the incredible maintenance team of Jeremiah and Tony have made a big difference for us over the last few years. We couldn't have chosen a better location or residential apartment complex in downtown San Antonio. This has been a beautiful and incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We will miss San Antonio, the indescribable downtown views from our apartment, and our experience living at The ’68 over the last three years – from the easy access to the S. A. Riverwalk, church, the many restaurants, city event choices, beautiful and new Hemisfair Civic Park, and the fun lifestyle. I wish we could take this apartment and its beautiful views to our next city.

Finally writing a review. I wanted to give myself time here at The 68’ before I wrote a review. I want to be accurate about how I rate my experience here. 1) just looking at every thing visually you can see The 68’ is well kept, very clean and modern. 10/10! 2) you must remember the location here is one of the best in downtown San Antonio, so it being located downtown you will have to give up space for quality and the experience of living in an awesome part of the city. 3) There is no pool but I’m not big on pools so it doesn’t bother me, but I do play basketball and there is a court on the roof! The court is closed to the public and only for residents so that is a plus! 10/10! 4) I love the parking they have available for residents, it’s very secure and blocked from public parking and there are no break ins to residents cars because of the security. 4) Living down town that’s a big plus 100/10! 5) I live in a studio apartment, it is very spacious I have a queen bed, a couch, a small 3 seat dining room table and a dresser with a 75 inch TV! 10/10! When I was looking for an apt, they all were a lil bigger but further away from my job so I was willing to give up space for location but still very spacious, no clutter. Over all I love this place the manager Bianca is very attentive to all the residents and so is Maintance, which is highly unusual. I love it here I plan to renew for a couple more years, maybe upgrade to a one bedroom. If not I’m happy either way!

I am interested in having a tour with this apartment but not only did the person not show up, nobody gave me a call back or gave me any information. Very unresponsive when I tried to reach out again as well

I have lived at The 68 for over two years and would absolutely recommend this property to all of my friends and family!

Some of the major perks for me include the cleanliness, speedy maintenance, responsive leasing staff, and location! I love the variety of restaurants downstairs including options for brunch, coffee, drinking, ice cream, and pizza. It is also great proximity to Southtown bars and restaurants, the riverwalk, and much more. The rooftop also includes bbq pits, pickle ball, and basketball which is great for hosting and winding down after long days.

A lot of the disadvantages come with the territory of living Downtown. For example, parking for visitors is less than ideal. There is no free parking anywhere and it is an uncomfortable conversation telling friends and family that they will have to pay to come visit me. There is not even free guest spots available and towing is enforced.

Other than that, I do feel management is communicative when there are building issues such as a broken garage gate. There are also monthly community events and discounts to nearby restaurants. The only thing I would change would be the parking for visitors, a bigger gym space outside of the studio downstairs specifically for residents, and access to a pool.
